Yummy!!!
Kind of expensive, but so delicious! I also really like that they are individually wrapped which makes them easy to give away. I put them in everybody's Christmas stockings this past year! And the kids gobbled them up and want me to buy them again!

In Hebrew, Achva means "brotherhood"
If you are a fan of tahini, then obviously You will like these!Personally, this is my first experience with tasting halva and No I don't want to travel all around the world trying others to compare because frankly, I don't care. I am also not a "foodie" or claim to be any kind of food expert by no means since simply cannot stand anything having to do with the kitchen or cooking in general! So when it specifically comes to this brand of halva per se, I really like these because they come pre-packaged and already portioned so I don't have to think about it.And since my husband & I are on a Low-carb/sugar diet, these good tasting moderately sweetened treats not only satisfy our sweet tooths -- but are also waaay more nutrient-dense, satiating and sustaining since give or take (depending on flavor) yield: 10g of carbohydrate; 2g of fiber; 4g of protein; 9g of fat where 2g are "saturated" -- so that means the rest (7g) are of the "unsaturated" type which are the good kind of fat.Note: Since fat is a really good energy storage molecule, this means that it can sustain your Energy level over a Longer duration throughout the day!More Notes: Also, since this type of halva does NOT contain any trans fat from the Fully hydrogenated Vegetable (palm) oil type, This means that it does NOT possess any of the inflammatory trans fat found in Partially Hydrogenated Oil! Hydrogenation is also necessary for shelf stability purposes, btw.My Favorite Perks: Each halva snack is composed of 50% sesame seeds! And initially I was drawn-in by this description that I read online: "creamy, fudge-like sesame paste confection."

If you've had Halvah before, I do NOT recommend this brand
I like me some Halvah. I saw this as a 'recommended for you' and decided to try it (instead of buying one of my usual brands). I regret that decision. This Halvah is...not normal. I looked at the ingredients to ensure it's Vegan, however I neglected to really 'interpret' the ingredients: there is Hydrogenated Vegetable Oil in this stuff!!! There is zero reason for this in Halvah - should be sesame seeds, sugar, and any extras like nuts. The addition of Hydrogenated Vegetable Oil makes this stuff taste weird and has waaaaaaay too 'creamy' of a mouth-feel. Halvah shouldn't be 'creamy'. EICK! I'll bring it with me to the Humane Society where I volunteer, maybe other volunteers and/or staff will like it.

Not quite right
I love halvah and was happy to order individually packaged chunks -just the right size. But, I'm not crazy about these. I find the texture too moist. The marble is best. The vanilla tastes artificial, and the walnut is too soft. Will not be purchasing this brand again.
