I like the old product and the new product is working
I have used DCL products for yoars. I, too, was concerned that the product changed and the price went up; however, have found this new product to be very effective and the proof is when I tell people how old I am, they do a double-take and insist that I am not being truthful. I hope that dcl will listen to their customers' concerns as voiced in the other reviews. Perhaps developing a new product while keeping a product that has proven itself would be a strategy dcl should consider.

Great Price Point, SPF30, doesn't make you breakout
All around everyday product with the added benefit of having an SPF 30, which I use after the Active Mattifying Cleanser.

I have used the original Profoundly Effective A Moisturizer for about 15 years and loved it! I bought the new version and was told this was the same and I am profoundly disappointed! I do not want the SPF in it and this new cream is thick and doesn't cover or do the same job the old one did...plus it is much more expensive. I will not be buying more of this product but am confused now as to what product I could replace it with. Any suggestions out there?

Bring the old product back
I have been using profoundly effective A for almost 10 years and I loved it. I was so sad when I saw that that they had rebranded and not only changed the price of the product but added additional ingredients to it. I decided to try it anyway and have had terrible reactions from it. My skin has changed and I am breaking out everywhere. I will now be switching to a different brand and I am very disappointed. I hope they bring the old one back.

Don't understand why DCL had to mess with a wonderful product and ruin it
I have used the older version of this product for years. This version feels different, smells different, and is only meant to be used as a morning/day cream. The previous version could be used as a day/night cream. I also had an allergic reaction to this one, after using it on my neck. Don't understand why DCL had to mess with a wonderful product and ruin it.

Won't buy it again.
This product does not compare with the original which I used for 20 years. I tried it and did not like it. Looking for something like the original.

Great pity since I used it religiously for years
I tied the new Profoundly Effective A with SPF 30 although I really really do not want any SPF in it. DCL claimed, when I called them, it is the same cream but with SPF, well IT IS NOT. It is very different from the original one and does not work well at all. After using the original cream my face was smooth and even colored next day and ever since I used it. This one is just a SPF moisturizer. Does not come close to the original Profoundly Effective A. Great pity since I used it religiously for years, but I am in search of a new "A" cream. I will not buy this one again.I am very disappointed with DCL that they took off the market the best cream they made, one that gave them name in my opinion. It took time for the company to rise, it will take time to go down in sales but they will go down.
