BARIATRIC SLIPPER SOCK NON SKID (3pk), 3X large, Blue, Blue, Size 3X large

My mom has been IMPOSSIBLE to shop for socks with the non-skid bottoms (hospital style) due to the amount of edema she often has. In normal times she wore 8.5 wide shoe. we've tried 3 or 4 other brands socks that claim to be super XXL hospital socks, even tried mens XL sizes, but given how much swelling she sometimes has they almost never work. they usually pinch around the elastic cuff or just don't stretch enough for the edema in her ankles and top of her foot she cant usually even get her toes completely in without pain. I finally realized we need to look for BARIATRIC or EDEMA socks, and came across these. they arrived in like 3 days from the date ordered, and i was happy to discover there were 3 pairs -- i must have missed that in the product description! :) Mom was very happy to finally have a replacement pair that fits comfortably, esp since the ones she has now have holes in the heels and completely warn out. The only thing that could be better is having a different choice of color for this size, but she didn't even complain about that. we're just happy to know we finally found correct socks that actually fit without pain or pinching, are warm, comfy and roomy enough that i was able to put both my arms inside them (upto my elbows) and they'd continue stretching even more if needed. and the non-slip gripping on the bottoms is quite thick and covers the entire bottom of her foot (and then some), definitely will add safety for her walking on linoleum floors at home. Highly recommend product and seller, very happy!

These socks are great! I got something similar in the hospital. I liked the non-skid bottoms, plus the comfort. When I got home I found these on Amazon and have been buying them for a few years. These are better than the ones I got at the hospital. I wear a size16 extra wide shoe, plus I have occasional swelling problems, and these socks fit just fine. They don't go up my calf very far. This doesn't bother me. The tops do not have a very tight band to help therm stay up, but I don't really have a problem with them slipping. I have circulation issues anyway, so I don't want the too to be tight. I also wear them when I wear shoes because they are so comfortable, but I don't go many places, so I rarely wear shoes.

I have a very bad back due to a failed back surgery which made my pain 10 fold. (Don't ever have lower back surgery)Long story short, I ended up falling forward when my leg gave out and broke my big toe so bad that it required pins & screws to set it in place.This sock was great before surgery, when a regular sock was too tight and caused more pain, this oversized (XXXL) sock was loose enough to not cause any pain.After my toe surgery, my toe and foot was wrapped in so much padding that this sock was the only thing that would fit over all the padding and gauze wrap.I have to wear a big black boot that goes up to my knee to keep my toe from moving. While I'm in the house, the sock stays off. But when I go out in public, I put the sock over all the padding to keep it covered & clean, then put the boot on over the sock.For this purpose, these socks work great.And for the people saying that the rubber grip on the bottom comes off after washing them, try washing them in cold water instead of hot and don't put them in the dryer. Let them air dry.

Overall, these are good slipper socks. They are wide enough for my extremely swollen and painful feet, and I mean I pretty much can't handle anything touching my feet. I like that they fit over my calves like a crew sock. I do wish they were thicker for more warmth. I ordered the XXXL or whichever size was the largest. I wish I could find any pair of shoes to wear in case anyone has any suggestions.

I had a friend call me and asked me to look for socks that were non-slip for her dad. He is currently in the nursing home rehabbing and his feet are a little bit swollen and the slipper socks that they provide were too small. Did a little research found these on Amazon with great reviews and explanations on sizing and this worked well. His shoe size is a size 10 and somebody said they would equate these two maybe a size 15 shoe. And that was perfect she wanted something that was a little bit big because of the swelling. Highly12-29-18I wanted something with non slip and comfortable not tight in any way. I remembered purchasing these for a friend's dad. I just polished my hard wood floors and was worried I would slip with using my fuzzy slipper socks.so O ordered them. Arrived as noted and they are warm and have a great non stick bottom. They are a bit big but stay on my feet and the non slip is great. Highly recommend!

We like the socks, but if they twist while wearing, the dots are only on the bottom.If they were on top and bottom, they would continue to be non-slip.

These socks are soft and comfy. Got them to use after knee surgery. Will continue to wear them well after recovery. Still in good shape after many washes and the dryer!

I bought these socks for my mother who went from a hospital to assistant living. Her feet are swollen. The hospital socks were tight on her feet. She complained about them. Amazon and BHmedwear to the rescue!!! I purchased 6 for her. I received only 5 and I contacted BHmedwear. The customer service rep was fantastic and sent me the missing pair. My mom loves them!!!! She says they are very warm and comfortable on her feet. They are roomy on her feet and the material used to make them are thicker than the hospital socks. So I ordered 6 more for her. They are holding up very well. I wash them inside out and line dry. I highly recommend these socks and I will continue to order more when she needs them. I am posting a pic showing the difference between the red xxl hospital sock and the blue xxxl BHmedwear sock. I hope this helps.

My husband had one pair from hospital after a serious operation to stop him from slipping while using a walker at home. They were to tight and too short so I ordered these and hoped they would be better. My Goodness they are light just cozy for his feet. Lots long enough and do a great job to keep him from slipping. We are very happy with them.

Fair product. Does help with slipping. Product tends to stretch and get sloppy. Find that all makes of bariatric socks do this.
