Wasabi PowerBattery (2-Pack) and Charger for Pentax D-LI88, Optio H90, P70, P80, W90, WS80

This is a great "tune up" for a small price! I had used my previous Wasabi batteries and charger for about 4 years- I could not tell whether it was the camera (Pentax W-90) connections that were going bad, or the battery connections-, or, the charger not charging completely- I would have to push the ON button several times and shake the camera to turn it on- Then the battery life decreased fast, also- Well, I am happy to report that the Wasabi batteries/charger- don't know which, no longer were working 100%, but ,for the very reasonable price of a new charger and 2 battery set, I have no problem now! My Pentax works like new, my pictures are back to super quality, and, no delay in start, or picture taking! I am very pleased that I did not replace the camera as first step! Thanks, Wasabi!

With a very compact charger, this battery kit -- including two batteries! -- was the perfect replacement for the dying batteries and ungainly charger that came with my Pentax Optio. This set keeps my small point-and-shoot going for at least another few years.Update: Three years from purchase, one of the two batteries has died. Not a great disappointment, as this did extend the life of my small point and shoot camera. I think the life of the batteries are at least on par with the factory originals for my Pentax Optio P80 camera.

Just what was needed to bring an old camera back to life. I purchased a small Pentax point-n-shoot digital camera from auction and it came with a dead battery and no charger. A quick search on Amazon and I found this. I charged the original battery with the new charger and BAM! the camera came back to life! I have not tried the 2 Wasabi batteries yet.

For less than half the price of an original replacement battery, you get two batteries with higher capacity, a compact quick charger with fold-away wall plug (US prongs), a European plug adapter and a cigarette-lighter plug/cable to recharge in the car! Good quality construction, works great in my camera!

I was happy to find low-cost replacements for my battery (which was lost somewhere while traveling overseas) but rather disappointed to find that the battery life on these actually seems to be just as brief, if not even more so, than the original battery (which was already a disappointment in that area). I guess this camera is just a battery hog in general, but the batteries are not designed for long use. ALWAYS take at least two fully charged batteries if you go on a day excursion as each battery will not last you very long. These batteries are undoubtedly a bargain compared to the brand name but...don't rely on them any more than you did on the brand!

A great battery at a very good price. They seem to be better than the original battery that came with my Sanyo video camera.

I had this battery and a charger purchased through Pentax with my camera. The battery and charger both stopped working and the charger was very cheaply made and difficult to insert the battery along with a very long bulky cord that was not conducive when traveling. I checked for replacements and could not believe that this kit was being sold for only a fraction of what Pentax wanted for only one battery. I have ordered batteries from Wasabi before and have not been disappointed and once again I was not disappointed. This is a nice compact charger, with two batteries along with a car adapter bundled for a great price.

Great value, allows me to use my camera continually through the day, charging the next battery in the truck.
