A simple design
It works as pictured. For a minute, the round holes for oblong earbuds threw me, but once you turn the earbuds sideways, it snugs in place. For clarity's sake, the wrapping worked best for me in this order: put ear piece with the short cord length in place first, wrap until you reach the second earbud and put it in place, then do the rest of the cord and secure the end piece in the slot. The circumference of the piece you wrap around is kind of small (3/4") and therefore requires a lot of wrapping and unwrapping and it is leaving my cord noticeably wavy. Still, it's a definite improvement over tangled cords and I'll likely use it at least when I travel. Pretty compact. Cord is exposed so you have to be aware where you are storing it, but also, by the same token, easily accessible. A decent solution for a vexing problem but I'll probably keep looking for something a bit quicker and with a larger area to wrap around.
