This looks great and is very soft but the fur is not super thick. It is more of a silky texture than a thick wool.

Family and I just returned from Norway where we were introduced to sheep skins on chairs, couches, etc. We fell in love with them. So upon my return and "gifting" a couple sheep skins to family, I decided I needed more. Amazon provided excellent sheep skins. I LOVE these for winter coziness!
