Used it for my Ryzen 5600G Worked well out of the box and did not have to flash the bios prior to use The USB ports are plenty compared to other B550m mobo

Great balance of features and pricing. VRM is a solid selection of components allowing for easily OCable Ryzen 9 CPUs. Board is absolutely decked out in USB ports on the rear IO is very welcome. Plenty of RGB headers although I would have traded one of those in for an extra fan header personally. Sleek aesthetic, good heatsink and not a garish design. One of the best UEFI layouts. CPU-less BIOS updates work like a charm.

We are all ways rushed. Why do you keep sending emails asging for rateings. I don't have the moned that Jef Bezoes has. I purchased this motherboard midway through a 12month saving/ purchase/ new build plan. This will sit in the box unopened until around February 2021. How do I rate this product???? I can state that item arrived a couple of days early. Undamaged packaging. Now that a good sign.

With the promo price, this is probably the most value for money B550 board available. Back I/O ports are the first I check in a motherboard, number of USB ports, USB version, and the audio jacks. Cheap low quality board have to cut corners, the first is always the audio SPDIF jack. I have no confident in a mobo when they have to skimp on these basic features. This board have a whopping 10 USB ports, including 5x USB 3.2 + Type-C and all 6 audio jacks. One can never have enough USB ports, Gigabyte botherboard usually have numberous of them, unlike other brands. There are 2x CPU fan connectors and 3x system fan connectors, these are enough for typical system, especially for a microATX, how many fan you want to squeeze in the small mATX case? AIO fan are better control by their own controller, for fan fetish, there's always fan controller, don't understand why some claim the included fan connectors number is a con. I flash the BIOS/UEFI to lastest f15a with no issue. Please read the onscreen text or RTFM, Gigabyte alearly stated the drive needs to be in FAT32 format. When the flash/thumb drive is in NTFS, the Q-flash can see the BIOS file but it won't be able to read the file--no flash. format the flash/thumb drive to FAT32 and you are done. Maybe the only con is the lack of heat spreader for 2nd NVMe slot. I use that slot for WD blue SN550 1TB, no temp issue. For some reason, on stock BIOS, Win 10 isntallation will have error saying the drive is in GPT and will not proceed; switching to MBR solve the issue. Maybe the culprit is the old GFX with UEFI BIOS but I was installing and booting to Win10 happily with it on X99 sabertooth before that. Didn't bother to check if f15a solve it, 4 partition in MBR is more than enough.
