As we approach maturity over 40s, we are told that black can often be harsh on our eyes as far as eyeliner. This is a great eggplant chain to give your eyes that bit of pop. It is very creamy consistency and glides on your eyelid very smoothly. it creates a beautiful wing and lasts all day. The color isn’t as harsh as black, but still has enough pop the pencil sharpens very easily as some reviewer said that it didn’t I have had no problem, sharpening this pencil and absolutely love the creamy consistency the way that it glides on my eye without tugging or being painful the color is absolutely beautiful and it stays on all day in very humid hot conditions with somebody that has oily eyelids.

I really like this eyeliner. The application is easy and yet it comes off easily as well. It doesn’t last all day, I wouldn’t say it’s waterproofand you have to sharpen the pencil, because itdoes not come with a sharpener. But overall, it is my go to.

It is hard to find a great "plum" color (most are bright purple!) but this is a nice dark plum. Works well for green eyes and is waterproof through swimming. Agree with others, however, these really are a problem to sharpen 😠, so can only give 3 stars. It either disintegrates to mush in the sharpener or breaks off after sharpening. Saw a tip online to freeze gel eyeliner 10-15 mins before you sharpen, so will try that. A pencil is no good at all if you can't use the whole thing.

If I could give this a negative rating, I would. What I got is not the product in the amazon picture. My liner crayon came in a plastic tube with no way to advance the crayon. Furthermore, when I put the cap on the back of the liner to hold it, and then took it off again, it took the end piece off with it. Now the end piece is lodged in the cab and I can't even put the cap back on! It's not possible to sharpen this liner because it would require sharpening a plastic tube, and then the very soft crayon gel would mush in the attempt. I have no idea what's going on here except that maybe this company made a mistake and produced a bunch of lemons that can't be sharpened and then is just selling them off to suckers. At $7 + some change, it's too cheap to try to get a refund, so just listen to my warning. I saw another warning of the same thing. And actually, if I DID get the kind that could be sharpened, I can't imagine how sharpening would not rip off the very soft crayon material. The only reason I got this liner over the one I love from Palladio is that this one got a EWG certification and my dark brown Palladio liner is rated at a green # 2... Still very good for toxicity, but not as good as EWG certified. Going back to my favorite Palladio eyeliner. That one can be advanced by twisting the end, it's soft and creamy, and works wonderfully well. Buyer beware on this one!

Perfect replacement for my other eyeliner pencil that had questionable ingredients. I had no idea this product was EWG certified until I was searching. The fact that it uses safe ingredients, isn’t a ridiculous price, and can also be purchased at the store, I don’t think I’ll buy any other brand again! Color is exactly as pictured, goes on smooth - so smooth that my pregnancy butterfingers accidentally swiped my mirror, fingers, cheek, and stomach on the first application - totally my fault for not being able to hold a pencil. It comes off effortlessly with my microfiber makeup remover cloth, but stays on my lid all day. I did have very slight smudging under my lower eyelashes from where I had applied it to my waterline, but not nearly as bad as my expensive brand had done. So, for an eyeliner that isn’t supposed to be waterproof, it held up exactly as it should.

I usually go for premium brand with cosmetics but gave this a shot after seeing the EWG certification. This performs beautifully! I have had absolutely NO issues with sharpening this pencil as other reviewers have said. Perhaps many forget how to sharpen pencil eye liners since they have been a bit out of style for a long time but just keep turning until it naturally releases from the sharpener and you are good to go. It stays on so good, too good in fact. I use a quality eye makeup remover but in the morning I can wake up with some smudged under my eye after trying to remove. Smudging really only happens twice with this however, when first applying on the water line you might see some transfer to the bottom line. This wipes off easily with a qtip if you get it right away. The other time is if you did try removing and didn't get it all before bed. I have slept in it without trying to remove it (sometimes you just are too tired to move!) and woke with barely a smudge. I have found this lasts all day, doesn't melt and smudge but gives me just enough time to smudge out during application for the effect I want. Doesn't bother my sensitive eyes and has lasted a long time with sharpening. I will be purchasing this for as long as they make it.
