Helps creates a cute lesson plan
I have used this book along with a weight scale to talk about things being heavier, lighter, or equal weight. My preschoolers really get into it. The book isn't too long which is nice for my attention span of my students.

Books and Math! A great combo!
Kids need books like this to know that all books aren't just about cute stories. Sometimes those stories can be teaching them something as well. This job does a great job teaching them about the concept of balance and equality in math.

Perfect for teaching measurement
Love this book! Used with my Kindergarten class to teach measuring. They can easily relate to it and they find it funny too! They loved the authors other book Mouse Count so I knew they would love this one too!

Teacher Review
Very simple wording. Direct and to the point. Short story. Nice graphics. I think students will grasp the point very easily. It will be good for reviewing or introducing balance to lower elementary.

Beautifully Illustrated Book about Balance
Very sweet addition to Walsh's series of Mouse books. Offers an introduction to the concept of balance to young children.

Content really useful but board book very small.
Content is good and really useful to introduce the concept of balance. I was just a little disappointed that it was such a small book- but completely my mistake as I had not looked at the dimensions, simply expecting that it would be the same size as the paperback versions I have of the other titles in this series.
