You get what you pay for.
They do the job but are delicate. Used on a pair of headphones, they don't like all the movement and the internal spring, which I couldn't get to, broke. I taped it up with a splint for now.

These worked perfectly for an double din radio install where I wanted to keep an extisting microphone from a previois install. The 2.5 to 3.5 fit the bill :)

I wish I had read the other reviews before buying these adapters. I had the exact same experience as others with the very loose female connector end and could not get a consistent audio connection. Returning product was easy though.
