I purchased this screen from the advice of two friends that have been RV’ ing for 20 + years. This thing is very high quality . If a storm comes up dust grab the zipper and take off with it and leave it laying in the ground. It’s easy to zip back up also. I have seen some complainers talking about the plastic tubes popping out of the track . There are 3 different types of grooves in most of the awnings out there . There is a groove that this is made to slide into and when assembled there is no slop. When you extend your awning simply reverse it a little bit , just enough that screen tubing will roll back under the awning and there is no way the tubing with slip out. One person can install it but it’s a pain. 2- people can install the top piece into the awning in a couple of minutes. The zipper is heavy duty . I would definitely purchase this again but it’s going to be around for a long time. Oh- it’s heavy so always disconnect the bottom piece and never roll it up in your awning.

I wasn't sure what to expect on this screen, but I was pleasantly surprised when it arrived. The quality is supberb, the edges were neat, and the zipper is high quality as well. It took me about 15 minutes by myself to get it installed, and most of the struggle was getting it threaded into the awning slot. I love that the zipper section stays on the awning when you close it, and when rolled up, you can not tell there's a screen piece installed. I also love that the extra piece provides a bit more shade when you don't put the full screen on. I have recommended this screen to several people, and many others have dropped over to ask about it when it's set up. Everyone has commented on how nice the quality is. Just a note: Many people buy one a little shorter than they need, just so they can have the awning pulled dow for rain and the screen won't rub on the ground. When we measured, we pulled the awning to its lowest position, then measured straight down to the ground. That's the length we bought. When it's pulled outward, it has a nice gap underneath to allow the air flow. The fit was perfect for us, and I am beyond happy with this screen. Definitely recommend this product.

So glad we got this for our motorhome. In a hot sun it's so helpful with cutting down the heat. The part that inserts to the awning rail is about a 3' hang, the bottom section is 6' that easily zips on and off. We just leave the upper section on to roll in and out with the patio awning and zip on the lower section when needed. We use those little black bungee cords with the ball for the bottom tie downs. This works out perfectly when a strong wind whips up and you need to roll in the awning quickly; the zipper zips off the bottom section amazingly easy, roll in the awning and stow the bottom section with the bungees. We've seen similar shade cloths but not as good looking and not as good of quality as this product is. And when the wind whips up we're glad we got this that is quick and easy to roll up!!!

Ok the product is amazing! It does what it says.. the temperature difference behind the screen is at least 10F. It is also easy to install and the zip off function is a great feature; HOWEVER, there are wear areas that look white -see the attached pics, from shipping and storing (or age) which will become holes very soon. Also the screen has 4 grommet holes to secure at bottom and we only received three pegs!!!! Also the rope that they supplied was not sufficient for 4 pegs!!! Had to make a run to Home Depot. So this was either a used/ returned item or quality control is sadly lacking. That being said ...we are on vacation so I am not returning it....we will deal with future problems....in the future!😅

We have a 5th wheel and seem to always end up with a site that faces where our tall awning is just not effective at shading our outdoor area. We saw a camper with a similar awning add-on and then found this. Overall the quality seems top notch. Definitely not cheap or flimsy feeling at all. Install was very easy, and we love that you just zip off the extension and roll up the short piece with the awning - couldn't be much easier than that. Definitely one of our favorite additions to the camper.

Absolutely love it! Fits perfect and provides plenty of shade

This is a game changer! It is sturdy, easy to put up or take down. It does not come with stakes or tie down ropes, this you will need to secure. Definitely helps with the inside temperature and gives the added privacy if you are in a campground with tight spots! This is worth every penny you spend. Install took about 5 minutes per awning.

Bought this screen for our two week vacation. It fits our motor home awning perfectly and offers a shady and private area for us to relax. I do wish this screen came with another attachable piece of nylon for evening use when we want privacy. I will be making something to fit onto it when I get home. I do wish I had bought at least one side piece but again, I’d like it more for privacy in the evening so a solid option would be nice. I’m giving this product five stars because it is exceptionally well made, good quality material and mechanics, very nicely engineered (easy to use) and does the job it has advertised. My husband was so impressed that he can leave part of it inside the awning and then just zip the screen on when needed.

Privacy shade works well. The zippered attachment style, makes it easy to attach and detach. You will need to provide your own storage bag.

Our seasonal campsite has the door side facing east. We have added a deck on the east side. There is full sunlight from early morning until about 2 pm. We found it very hot, some days too hot, to sit there even as early as 8 a.m. We found this solar blocker and decided to get it in order to have shade. It arrived very quickly. As advertised, it installed in the slot of the RV awning in seconds. There was an immediate drop in temperature from sitting in the direct sunlight to being behind solar shade. In addition to providing shade, it provides privacy from people looking in while we can still look out and enjoy the view. The shade is well constructed and durable. It is easy to zip on and zip off. It folds neatly into its case. When our camping friends saw it and sat behind it, they were so impressed that they bought one and now have it in their awning.

Sun screen keeps sitting area much cooler and keeps sun off a lot of trailer side assisting function of AC. Can sit under awning during heavy rain as most water runs down sun shade vs through. Highly recommend We use on an electric awning. Strap down with rubber stretch straps and leave out. Only take down when very heavy storm warnings in area. Unzips and installs easily.

Screen is very good quality. Easy install and set up. Only down fall is when I rolled up the awning, I had to take the 12” hanging part off as it did not permit full and tight closing against camper. Works well enough to quickly roll up the awning when the wind comes and quick setup after, but won’t be traveling with it on.
