Minor Miracle?
Crossposted to all 3 items. Well, here's a story of a minor miracle. I drove across the country -- nearly 3000 miles in 4 days. By the end of it, I had a pinched nerve which caused constant pain, especially while driving the car, and excruciating when getting out of the car -- shooting pains all up and down my left leg. Since I live in a rural area where nothing is in walking distance, this was putting a serious crimp in my life -- I'd grit my teeth and venture out to get essential groceries, but otherwise I was pretty much housebound. I bought the ERGO21 Lumbar Support Cushion for the back and the Sports Cushion for the seat, and the incredibly responsive owner of the company, Steve Gambhir, also sent me the Lumbar Roll, which came 2 days after the rest. The two cushions immediately alleviated the pain of driving -- I could now drive comfortably, though getting out of the car was still punishing. When the Lumbar Roll arrived I stuck it behind the back cushion and drove a half hour for an appointment, and (cue the trumpets and choir of angels) no more pain getting out of the car. I'm mobile again! The ERGO21 didn't cure my pinched nerve, but it made it possible for me to get out and about without pain for the first time in a month. Hallelujah, I have seen the light!

A good choice.
I liked the sport model very much. It turned out to be too tall in the chair so I gave it to my husband and he is enjoying it. I ordered the original for me. It is a better fit. The gel pillows are a very good idea. They take the pressure off my old “behind” (as my grandmother used to say)

Great cushion for wheelchair use
The Ergo21 cushion has worked wonderfully for me in my wheelchair since 2017. It has held up great and is very comfortable. Way more so than the the cushions costing $300-500. Steve, the owner of the company, is very responsive, friendly and knowledgeable. He went above and beyond to make sure I had the right cushion for my new wheelchair when I recently purchased another Ergo21. This was to replace the high dollar seat cushion that came with my chair that was not comfortable at all!

It wrks pretty good at 1st .,
It was good at 1st use . I do use most of 20 hrs per day., but after about 3 weeks it would bunch up in between legs. It just would not stay flat anymore. It was broken down as a cushion by then too. It is a great thought if just made better. 1- gel all the way inside,2-a bigger choice of sz too.

Mobility Chair Miracle
I researched a lot of seats for my dad's mobility chair because he hated the filled air pocket seat that came customized for his chair. He is mostly paralyzed on his left side due to a stroke and has also had to have a rod inserted in his hip due to a fall so he sits all day in the chair. For a year, I have tried several other cushions with no luck - he always complained they were hard, flat, lumpy or just caused pain. The ERGO21 is a thinner cushion designed to provide extra padding, not to be used as a primary seat cushion, so I could not use it alone. To create a full sized seat, I inserted the ERGO21 cushion into the seat cover on top of a basic cheaper foam wheelchair cushion creating about a 5 1/2" - 6" total seat height. It fits perfectly and he has not had a single word of complaint about sitting since I put the ERGO21 cushion on the chair a few months ago - honestly it's been a miracle! For reference purposes, I purchased the 18x20 size for his mobility chair and he is an average sized man, about 5'10" and 175lbs, that sits on the cushion for about 12 hours a day.

Not worth the price
UPDATE 2020-07-29: This cushion gave out on me about 8-9 months after I started using it. It started losing firmness before that, but by 9 months of use, it was nothing more than soft foam. I ended up having to add more pillows on top of it, and that defeated the point, so I shopped around for yet another cushion. That's when I found the Ultimate Seat Cushion offered by Purple, the maker of beds in a box. The Purple cushion is only slightly pricier (with more basic models far less), but more comfortable from day one and, so far after 6 months, holding up far better. I'm sitting on this cushion about 16-18 hours a day, and it's still as firm yet giving and supportive as it was the first day I used it. The only thing not to like about theirs is the obnoxious smell, although it fades quickly in a few days. So, although I previously gave this cushion by ERGO21 a high mark, I have to retract that now and say that it is _not_ worth the cost. While it may be nice at first, Purple's offering is twice as comfortable, at nearly the same cost, and I believe more likely to hold up for longer. I'm not trying to sell you on Purple, and I'm definitely not getting any kickbacks from telling you about it (I wish I were!). I just want to advise all of you who are thinking about this cushion that there are much better options for nearly the same price, and possibly even for lower if you keep looking. To put it another way, if you're willing to spend $100 on this, go the extra $30 and get the Purple Ultimate Seat Cushion. /end of update I have some significant spinal issues, and it's difficult for me to stand so I sit a lot. I've tried a lot of cushions over time, with at best moderate results. Nothing really helped all that much. Then I saw this product by Ergo21. I was a bit hesitant to purchase it given the price, but it's the first cushion that actually works well for extended sitting. It's doing almost as well for me after several months of almost continuous use as it was the first day I sat on it. I used to get sores from sitting so much. Since I began using the Ergo21 cushion several months ago, I have had only ONE sore on my butt, which is a huge improvement. That alone is enough to make this cushion worth the price. But beyond that, it hasn't gone flat despite using it approximately 18 hours a day, every day, for 3 months. It's comfortable, sufficiently large, and even has a carrying handle and removable cover. I couldn't ask for more! This is a purchase I'm completely satisfied with. Chances are you won't regret purchasing it either. To sum it up in as few words as possible, it's the best cushion I've used to date. The truck seat in my work vehicle is so terrible that it has made it difficult to sit anywhere for too long a period. Since I have no choice when driving the situation has been unbearable. I have tried a lot of cushions and this one is the only one that gets me through the day. It hasn't cured me or anything but it took a long time to develop this condition so it will take a long time to get better. I feel with this seat cushion I will be able to get better. I would add that the vehicle I drive is a GM Savana(2014) you think this day in age the seats in a vehicle would be designed better. the seat cushion does raise you quite a bite so you have to have the room but for me it's worth losing the head room.
