Clean and traditional apperance.
Received exactly as described/pictured. Has a clean look and a nice finish.Unlike some reviewer I received mine with a working battery (watch was actually running upon receipt--we'll see how long the battery does last.The only thing I would say was less than ideal is the box that the watch is presented in. It looked nice at first but it turns out to be just a loose piece of cloth over a very flimsy piece of cardboard. It nested the watch nicely during transit, but once disturbed after opening the box, it's not going back together. A minor point but a point nonetheless.

Decent watch for the money.
I use this as my daily carry watch. Sometimes the stem gets pulled up while i'm getting in and out of my pocket and the watch stops. I wish there was a little bit better build so the watch stem wouldn't be come up as easy. I am pleased, this is just an improvement I would make. It's my only disappointment. Otherwise it is a very attractive timepiece and I am glad I purchased it.

The battery was dead on arrival, measured voltage of battery at .25 volts DC, should be 1.55. Paid $10 for a package of two new batteries, the watch stops easily & you need to pull out the stem & reset to get working again, we are using it in an arts & crafts display piece so it will probably work for us OK but if used as intended it would be unacceptable.

Nice pocket watch for the money
Firstly it's only a 15 Pound pocket watch so you're not going to get the quality of a £60 pocket watch but having said that it really is quite a nice watch for what you pay I'm quite pleased and will be keeping it. Update this watch has gained about 15 minutes over apx one week
