Works as FTDI programmer
This item works well as FTDI programmer. Note that on some boards you need to connect TX to TX instead of TX to RX. It is counter intuitive but makes it work! Also you need to provide your own MINI USB cable which is consider as endangered animal nowadays :D

Exactly what I'm looking for and worked as expected for my use case
This board module comes in a very small form factor, which is very portable. The module was detected immediately using my own mini USB to USBA cable. I wish they could have included the cable as well. Worked like a charm right of the bat in a Windows and Linux based platform. Driver installation was also easy either in Windows or Linux and was able to connect my Arduino board module without a problem/issue in data communication. Future model of the board module could be improved/enhanced building it with an enclosure and could come with a USBA cable.

Original FTDI Chip. Tested with Terminal software and arduino and works perfect !!!
