Safe, strong, and well fitted
I picked these up so that I could have an extra set of hooks. It allows me to switch from squat to bench using a single barbell much easier. These have a plastic hook coating as opposed to rubber. Still very safe, but it was a little bit different than what I was used to. I’m very happy with these and definitely would recommend as either replacements or spare set

Good quality
I was so happy to find 3" j hooks that are heavy, well made and a decent price.

Great quality
Nice to have a second pair of these on my rack so I don't have to move them between squat and bench.

They do the job
I have an inspire FPC1. I wanted a second set of J-hooks to have one in- and outside of the rack. A pair of these was cheaper then a single OEM one.Pros-They fit seamlessly with the provided adapter. They're sturdy / seem like decent quality.Yes they have a plastic base instead or rubber, but that makes no difference in usage.Cons-As others noted, screwing in the support screw takes the paint of your rack. Having read that I figured I would try gently screwing them in to see if it made a difference. If so then maybe I could put some felt under or something... It immediately cut a hole in the paint on my rack - pretty disappointed in that. Not worth using these screws. They should have been made with about 5 degrees more upward elevation. The bar always rolls to the front edge of the hooks as they have a slight downward slant. This is what I was hoping to fix with the screws... I've also wedged things under the front to see if it would help elevate them but no luck. It's not a big deal, but makes the plastic pads mostly pointless and it also leaves all the weight siting at the front edge all the time.Overall, for the price point, and to have a second set to simply make my life more convenient, they'll do. However if I were to only have one set, I would shell out for a higher tier or OEM pair.
