Couldn't be happier, I was a bit concerned prior to receiving item when I was reading it's description under the heading, 'Product specifications,' after my purchase, of course. Under that heading, there is the word, 'wood' is written. I thought to myself, 'wood,' I don't want it if it's made of that material. Too me, 'wood' would not hold up to the elements. I'm happy to say, there is no 'wood', that's a misprint. It's made of leather band, the St Benedict pendant is metal along with the belt-like clasp and what look like rivets. I emailed the seller and asked if I could contact the makers/ creators of the item, so I could give them my praise, they said no. :( so I told the sellers my opinion. Whomever designed the bracelet put alot of thought into it's creation. The number one, is that it's clasp is like a belt. As we all know with belts, as long as they have additional holes, there is an infinite possiblity on how tight or lose, in this case the bracelet can be. I'm 6' 4" or 193 cm tall, so I have skinny arms. When the bracelet is on my arm, there are at least two additional holes on the bracelets leather strap that I could make the bracelet even tighter. I guess a woman would tighten it more. Bracelets with snaps, aren't that great, because the person has very limited adjustment because of those snaps and their locations on the band. Some 'other' bracelets at this website, have two pieces of material that the buyer could tie together. The only problem with that, is the humans only have two arms. Imagine the joy of holding that type of bracelet against your body and attempting to tie it and all the while, saying bad words to yourself. ;)
