Grout Sealer Aerosol Spray, 15 oz

I had a leaking shower that was getting through the existing grout so decided to re-grout it and then as an added protection used this spray. It certainly shreds the water off the grout and tiles and the two pronged attack stopped the leak. When using it, is does like other products give off odours, but keep the room ventilated by opening a window and you will be fine. I also ensured that i wore a mask, goggles and gloves to stop any skin or eye contact when using it. It is easy to apply and just wipe away the excess with a cloth on the tiles when finished. I did a shower cubicle twice over and still have half the can left as such for other coats if needed.

I've tried a few different methods of applying grout sealants over the past few years, from a spray bottle to applying it with a foam brush, and this one wins by far. Is there over spray? Of course, but it's worth it because it only takes 10 minutes to apply to an entire shower, rather than an hour. I was able to get 2 showers done with one can (I only did a single coat on each since I seal the grout every year). After spraying it on, I just used paper towels to wipe the excess off the tiles and then let it sit for a few hours. After 1 application, water is beading on the grout and it's working as intended. I'll definitely buy this again next year! Side note: I was a little worried when I applied it as my grout got darker as I sprayed it on, but once it dried it went back to it's light color.

This is the first sealant I was able to apply properly to shower walls, it works really well and is easy to apply. You do need to be aware of ventilation as it is an aerosol type product akin to spraying WD40 on the wall. It dries without leaving any noticeable change in grout colour.

This zep sealer works well so far. Not sure the durability yet because I just put it on.
