Great music used for son’s piano lessons

This is quite a nice edition to play from, with lots of pedal markings and information about the pieces in the front. (Good for music exams) If you are looking for an original edition, though, than this is probably not for you. I am studying music at university, and try to get editions with as little editing as possible (especially as I'd already learned the piece in such an edition). But as this was the only publication that I could find that contained Rachmaninoff's Serenade Op 3. No. 5, I didn't have too much choice. Regardless of my preferences, this is a good little booklet and it is nice to have all the fantasy pieces of Opus 3 in one collection.The picture on the front is a pretty autumn landscape with a river, as opposed to the round orange and black circle as shown in the picture. Hardly makes any difference to the product, but I thought for a moment that they'd sent me the wrong item.

Excellent editing, phrasing, fingering and pedaling notations.

This is a very good piece with good printing and easy to read bars. I have enjoyed the Alfred Masterwork Editions for other composers and will continue to buy them.
