We have a fairly large outdoor pond. We keep our filter in a home-made filter box and stuff this filter material around the filter inside of the box. About once a week, we have to drag up the filter box and spray the pond sludge off of the filter material. The filters deteriorated over time, and so I just ordered another package of the filter material. Wish there was an easier way, but when it is clean the filter material works very well at keeping the pond clear for our koi and goldfish.

The material is way too thin and starts to break down after a few months and is falling apart. I'll go with something more expensive, but better quality next time.

This filter is the best filter I have ever used, it keeps my pond looking great.

I have been battling green water for years with my koi pond. I have spent hundreds on hay, beneficial bacteria and other remedies but none of them truly worked. This filter on the other hand is AMAZING!!!! Within 12 hours I could see the bottom of my pond. I had to clean the filter the same day I put it in my pond because it filtered so much out of the water. After that cleaning my pond is crystal clear. This is THE SOLUTION to your water quality issues.

Used this filter in a skimmer. It did catch some stuff but the white side started falling apart after a couple of cleanings. Was not as fine or tightly woven of a filter as I had hoped for.

Used once and fell apart. I am trying to get a refund now.
