J1772 Soft Protective Plug Cover for EV Charging Station EVSE Connector

It held on to my plug in the hight heat but I think it did more irritation to me than was meant. O one note the plug end to which I think was supposed to connect to the plug was not the right size so Ieft it near the plug where it seems to attract dust and bugs. My second note would be that it held on to the j1772 plug but not enough to keep water out and rain water accumulated in it. I think the spider that found it will make more use of it than me.

Falls off. Too loose. I have to turn it upside down in order to get a firm cover placement. Im buying a hard cover now I saw elsewhere on Amazon.

Does exactly what it says that it should do. Orders an awesome level 2 charger from eBay for super cheap, but some how the dogs got to the rubber and chewed it up. Replaced that on. Also, recently purchased a 2013 Ford Fusion Energi, and the one that came with the car used was missing one. Problem solved. 😉

This covers fits perfectly on a J-1772 EV charging cable. Unfortunately I left it sitting on the car while charging and forgot to replace, so it fell off the car when I drove away. I need to purchase another, and I will as protection from dampness and rain.

Mine fall off immediately if I move the plug. Also the rubber piece that you can push in to the plug is too big to fit in mine.

The teether doesn't fit my ChargePoint Home EVSE. But that's OK since I just need to keep the plug protected since I don't house the J1772 plug in the EVSE. No issues with form, fit and function.

Works great. The cap has a tether that plugs into your charging handle and the cap is a nice snug fit to keep moisture & dust out when not in use !!!

1st couple times it fit fine, after that...too loose. Such a simple fix I don't know why they don't make it a tad tighter??
