I think they are about the size of a nickel or a little larger.

It was an X-mas gift and with Covid I really don't know. Sorry. I know my 40 y o son had this set and spent lots of time using it. In fact I mentioned him I was getting it for his son and he remembered all the parts, etc. so it must had made a 39 year impression.

Best for cognitive skill

This is an excellent material for kids. It is best for cognitive skill. Even it can develop the child's fine motor skill. Because of the different parts we can help the child to learn new vocabulary. I really like this material.
