The base vessel or kodam is not openable. Sent message to seller and did not get a response till now. Told it can’t be opened it cannot be cleaned and hence cannot be used

Useless product.The steam escapes from the junction points of the base vessel and the tubular containers leaving their contents uncooked even after keeping the puttu maker on high flame for more than one hour.
