Best tire for my bike
I have had many tires over the years, but prefer the Michelin's over all. They wear well and hold up in all conditions. Good wet and dry traction. This is my second pair of tires. The first still had some tread left after 5000 miles of mostly riding on pavement. I've had other tires that split on the sidewalls after a year and some that were undersized and would not fit on my rims. The Michelin quality control is so much better than other brands. Like also that they have a puncture resistant barrier built in.

Expecting good service from them
My 20+ year old bike had an earlier version of Michelin City Protek tires. They had served well with no flats, easy riding, good traction, and still had plenty of tread left. But they were starting to dry rot after 8 or so years of use. Comparing the new tires to the old ones, it appears the new ones are equally well made and have a similar tread. I appreciate the reflective strip on the sidewalls. They were quite easy to install (make sure you get the rotation correct) and fit well. The bile came with 700x35 tires, but the bike shop where I got the previous Michelins sold me 700x32's. This time I went back to the 700x35 size and I like the ride better.

Michelin Road Bike Tires
I have an old(er) Nishiki 15 speed rally sport I purchased when I was stationed in Japan in the Air Force. I haven't riden my bike in over 10 years but, I always kept it haging up in the garage, no rust just dust, lol. So, got the wife a bike for Mothers day sooooo I had to fix mine so we could ride together. Of course I had to replace my tires which were in poor shape. Just the rubber, rims were good just had to clean them up. I realized that over time bikes have changed and tires have changed as well. My tire size is veeeryyy difficult to find these days 27 1 1/4 but when I ran across these I jumped at the chance to get them, specially since they carried the Michelin Logo. After a full weekend of cleaning my bike (very meticulously) I put these tires on, jumped on my bike and acted like a kid in candy store, lol. They ride GREAT !! Will probably get a spare set just to have lying around since it's getting a little harder to find GREAT tires in my size.

Seems like a great tire - larger than standard size though
This is just a second-day review - just put one of these on an old Schwinn that I am restoring on a low budget. It had 28-622s on them which is the size I ordered. While these tires fit fine on the rim, it is definitely larger than the ones that I took out. The tires are about 4mm wider than the ones that I had, and the profile is also quite a bit more than the old tires. The front tire on this bike was in decent shape so I only replaced the rear. I can't tell the difference in ride quality because of the difference in the profile though. The tire looks great, the ride quality is good, and the reflecting band is pretty cool (see my pictures with and without flash - big difference). But my recommendation would be to go with a smaller size if you want to keep the same profile/width of your current tires. I wish I went with a 700x25c instead of 28. But otherwise I think these will work great and hopefully last a long time.

Great tires for my classic touring bike
These tires are pretty durable, and they install easily on my 700c rims. If you use old style "clincher" tires with tubes, these are a good choice. The tires have been in production for a while, which is handy when you just want to order and replace one tire at a time.

Nice tires
These tires were easier to install than other tires I've put onto my bikes. The rubber felt pliable. The sidewalls are nicely reflective. I took a night ride as soon as I got them on. They seemed to have less rolling resistance and to be more grippy than other tires I've used, although I'm not sure how that is possible. I will definitely buy another pair of these as needed.

Michelin bike tires!
Received my Protec 26x1.85 tires in a large box, perfectly packaged, and ready to install.

Not Very Durable
The 700 x 28c size is very wide. More like a 32c. My main issue is with about 1/2 of the tread life left on the rear tire, the sidewall developed a bulge on one side of about 4 inches. There was no qualifying event - no pothole, no over inflation. It just arose during a ride.

Very nice tire tread pattern and efficient in wet condition. Michelin are very good tires for cars and street bikes .

Pas moyennement roulant et très dangereux sous la pluie, en cas d'angle pris en virage, la chute est immédiate. Ces pneus ne pardonnent pas. C'est fou de chercher a rester lisse a ce point sur les flanc alors que ca n'apporte rien.

Installed these on an old MTB frame to use as a road/gravel bike and these tyres have not disappointed. Average KPH has improved and they sound sticky when throwing it into the turns that gives me confidence. First road tyres I have bought and from the research that I did I believe these tyres would be hard to beat for the price.

I would give these tires 10 stars. My bike grew wings. Can't believe that it cost only 30 bucks. Best tires I've been ridden.
