After reading reviews about sticky tapes ruining floors, I purchased this and I'm not sorry! It works well holding the rug in place. Worth the price for the peace of mind that the rug isn't going to slip from under my feet! I've used this material as shelf liner, and to grip spaghetti sauce lids so I can twist them off. It has many great uses!

I had been trying to use my cutting board on top of the dining room table to do my baking/meal preparations. Up until now, every time I didn't need the board to cut, I had to pull it aside and use the pad underneath. The wooden board would just slide all over if I tried, i.e., to knead dough. Now, I can leave the cutting board in place (great to shape sourdough and other breads) and knead with full force. My board does NOT MOVE! Very pleased:)

I have three playful dogs that play lots of tag in the house. This displaces virtually every rug I have. I got this pad for the rug next to my bed, and it has successfully stabilized that heavily used rug which used to never stay in place. I will be buying more for all my other rugs. I do not know if it will have any adverse affect on my hardwood floors as I only just started using the pad.

I needed something to put under my vinyl tablecloth to keep it from shifting. This worked incredibly well for it and it cost less then an actual tablecloth underlay that I would have had to wait weeks to get. Highly recommend it!

I use this on top of hardwood flooring to keep an area rug in place--that is working.However, i also placed this on top of wall to wall carpet to keep my hallway runner carpet in place. That application is NOT working. The shifting of the hallway runner could be a function of my dog racing over it, so i'm not entirely convinced this product is at fault.I also use this product by cutting strips, then hiding the strips under the edges of objects that may topple during earthquake trembles. Obviously it wouldn't help in a major earthquake, but it has kept some things from dancing off shelves in light shakers.

We have tile floors throughout our home and our carpet used to slowly drift away over time. I'd have to move the couch sections and pull and push it back into place. Our carpet has not budged a single centimeter since we've placed this under it. Wow! What a great idea... I'm glad I bought it.

We have a new memory bed that features no box on a higher bed frame platform. The new platform bed frames allow the new memory beds to move around & is not for our liking. Ordered this for our Q size bed; Problem Solved !

I have a giant 10 X 7 rug in my living room on hardwood floors. The pad did help it to not move as much but it does still move. I like that it adds just a bit of extra padding. Once my new furniture arrives the edges of the rug will be partially under the couch and loveseat so that will help quite a bit. Wasn't intending this to work miracles and it didnt help to keep the rug from sliding for the most part. My husky took that as a challenge though and made it a point to prove herself lol not too bad overall
