Tempranillo is a native vine from Spain with a deep red color, therefore referencing the Bull in the name for our Tempranillo was natural. Added to this, the Cholame Valley has a long tradition of cattle ranching, from the first Spanish settlers to the annual Parkfield Rodeo. As the summer months linger in the valley and Baseball season heats up, I can't help but think about the bull pen where pitchers warm up before they take the mound.
