Raku Dream Catcher Jar with Sun Design on Lid (Wishing Pot)

I purchased this for a friend who is a sculptor for Christmas. He also collects Native American products. He was absolutely thrilled when he opened this up in front of me. He said he bought a large Raku jar many years ago and it is the prize of his collection, as the very large jars cost thousands of dollars now. He was so excited as he does not have one like this and he is very happy. He knows the process used to make these and he is trying to figure out how to apply it to his own sculpture works. Mostly he works on busts of peoples heads. I try to match my gifts to the interests of the person I am buying for and when I saw this online I knew I hit the jackpot. Amazon is great for being able to find anything!!!! I was very pleased with my purchase and the delivery was almost next day! Merry Christmas everyone!!!!

Bought it for my sister to put her meditation thoughts in tge jar.

I bought this as a gift for my daughter for her birthday. She loves it and it is a perfect addition to her meditation space.

This is a really cute item. I didn't realize it was going to be this small. The ad says 3x3, but mine is 3.125x2. The coloration is different from the photo (more copper, much less blue). I suppose the glaze comes out different from item to item, so I am okay with that. To be perfectly honest, I think it is a little pricy for what it is, but I don't buy a lot of this kind of thing so I don't have a good point of reference.
