So quick and easy!
I had 3 stacked permanent toe rings, sterling silver with channel set stones. After wearing them for 15 years, they had to come off for a surgery. After failing to remove them using lotion, string method, etc., I found this tool, which arrived the next day. My husband tried it first, thought it wasn’t working (maybe not putting enough pressure between the guard and the blade). While he went to the garage to look for tools to help, I grabbed the tool to try myself. I had all 3 off before he came back 2 minutes later. So quick and easy!

Works better than expected
This thing did an amazing job. You can use it by yourself but it is much easier to have someone else do the cutting.I was surprised at how fast the first cut went thru. My old ring was so tight that I still couldn't get it off so I made a second cut. The ring was so hard I could not pry it apart and so I had to make a third cut to cut it in half to get the old ring off because it was so tight. The ring had not been off in over 20 years. The third cut was more difficult. I could tell the blade was dulling. If you plan on using this more than a few times I would definitely get some extra blades.

Carpel tunnel, maybe get 2, but very nice work good
Made 1.5 cuts to get ring off. It was quite a bit of work my advice is take your time with it to avoid the carpel tunnel if possible. Also it aas very useful to grip and bend the ring. So this is why i would say maybe get two so you can use them to bend the ring apart and not have to make two cuts potentially.

Not a good product
This was to be used to cut a ring off a finger as the person had gained weight. So the right had become really tight. Purchased the product, and well It would not cut at all. We spent 35+ trying to cut it. Finally we had been able to cut with a pair of tin snips. It had ground through it enough that we could use another product to cut. It was returned as being non functional.

It works
I had tried string, dental floss and ribbon but nothing worked. This gadget arrived so while I held it in place my granddaughter turned the key and in 15 minutes it had cut through my wedding ring which had been on my finger for almost 50 years. I prised it apart with tweezers and it came off. If you have more than one to remove you will need more blades but it did the trick.

It takes time
It takes time but it works. I had to have someone else do the cutting, but it worked well cutting through a heavy wedding band that wasn't coming off the finger any other way.

It works!!!
So after two pregnancies my fingers were not how they use to be, lol. My wedding set has been stuck for the past two years and it was getting worse. Finally a easy solution and before I tried the ice cold hand above the head and the string and ribbon. Nothing worked. Soon as I took this out the package I went to work. Literally eight minutes later I had the set off. So happy. Easy to use. All smiles now. I'll get another set, hubby definitely understands and was happy for me.

Look up what type of ring you have.
For some rings ,it works, for other irs does not. I bought this for my husband who gained a substantial amount of weight during covid. Our rings were made of tungsten, it didn't even make a dent. He went to the doctors office afterwards and was charged 80 after his health insurance( we didn't reach our 300 deductible yet) tried using the same device to try to remove the ring.
