It took some working out how to use it safely on my audi A4 rear springs. The tool is large and heavy and eventually I got it into position. The tool worked with difficulty due to me working with the car on axle stands by the roadside.

As the saying goes you get what you pay for and this is brilliant 👍😊

Very disappointed in this product! Looks good and thought it would be a breeze doing my car but in the end I couldn’t get it to work my car is a Peugeot 508sw and I had a front broken spring so decided to buy this tool to change it over after a 3hr battle I gave up what ever I tried I could not get clamps to hold the spring while it was compressing it just kept shooting out under pressure the coil wouldn’t sit in the cup instead it just sat on the ends of the cup has it was the wrong profile making it unsafe and dangerous I had to borrow another set to complete my job which worked yet they were cheaper compressorsIt wouldn’t recommend this to anyoneAll the best mark

Good quality. Works well on various McPherson struts (Ducato, Corsa, Focus etc) and some rear coil springs. Safer and more effective (in most cases) than the much cheaper two part compressors but not as good as a hydraulic one (if you have the space) which seem to be coming down in price.

I used this tool today instead of the cheaper claws version which were too damn dangerous. This tool performed flawlessly.I was changing the shocks on a Renault Clio and I felt very safe doing so.This kit has the off-set clamps which is the same as the more expensive versions. Kits of similar price to this had the straight clamps but they're not good enough.The tool is heavy but that's ok, I want it strong.I'm really really impressed and recommend you buy it.

I have not used it yet. But looks good and is made with quality steel.

Only down side, no instruction... this tool can be dangerous to use without the proper instruction. Coil spring can be a suicide job when done improperly. Watch online video before use and PLEASE REMOVE THE YELLOW PLASTIC when using it...those are protector for transport not to be use with the coils!
