Well made with great color choices

A wide variety of kippot srugot (knitted Israeli style yarmulkes) for a low price. At that price, it is not surprising that the quality is not excellent. In about half the cases, the knitting was tied in a knot that constituted a visible "tail". It's not terrible for everyday use (wear it so that knot is at the back), but it is not beautiful. A few were much better, and the whole thing is probably worth the thirty dollars. One thing I would say, is that for most modern orthodox Americans, it is not true that they are mostly child-sized.

Never need to borrow one at Synagogue. These all come nicely made and styles so you are never bored with the same look.

I tried the religious thing. Studied, practiced, and submerged myself in it for over fourty years, bought all of this stuff, only to realize just how man-made it all is. Don't get caught up in the God delusion and waste your money and time. It's just beautiful knitted head coverings.If you want to study and practice something real, study cultural shifts, language, linguistics, ethnicity, and how the characteristics of many gods were merged into one over the history of a people. How the split between the worship of El vs. Yahweh happened. How the consort goddess Asherah was eliminated. How the priestly class was divided and struggled to hold on to power. How the Torahs were written, yes there are many versions with different cultural identities from different sects of a people with different ways of practicing their religious ideas. Study the types of poetry used in ancient writtings. You could spend a lifetime trying to understand the real and complex history of the semitic people and the continuing evolution of their religion.

The craftsmanship and quality are fine. They arrived earlier than expected even after going through customs and were undamaged.However they are very very small. Like, child small. If that is what you want they're great. If you prefer a larger kippa, I wouldn't advise this particular set.

I love the quality and detail of these. It might be nice though if there were clips included that could be purchased.
