better than advertised
It's a big battery with lots of cranking amps and lots of reserve. It provides the option of screwing on terminals from the top.I poured the acid outdoors, wearing goggles and keeping water hose handy. Most AGM's come already filled, but I think that can cause deterioration before the battery reaches the consumer. I see a fringe benefit to adding the acid myself. If someday the battery isn't up to par, I can easily see if it needs water.I hadn't found the instructions when I wanted them. I found them later in the box where the acid bottles had been.I downgraded my rating because of the advice to use a small manual charger. Again and again, I've read that with AGM, you'll do much better with a smart charger programmed for AGM.Update: The manufactures advertised 230 CCA, but after 4 months, my tester still finds about 8.2 milliohms, which translates to 365 CCA according to the SAE criteria.

AGM battery....not too shabby.
Holding a great charge even when not in use. Just a bit of declination over time. Just hook up the charger and bam....10 or 15 minutes back up to full charge. easy start up too. I liked how easy and spill proof it was filling up the battery with electrolyte, seal it up and go. Priced right as well.
