Fish (Shake & Play Bath Books) Bath Book – February 1, 2013

Love these books. I just have it in the play pen and my girl loves to look at the images. She can hold it by the handle and crawl around with it. Handy also for travel. Lightweight.

The book is colorful and light weight. Perfect for a baby to look at and hold themselves.

This is my baby's favorite book. She has had it since about 6 months and at 9 months still plays with it all the time, in and out of the bath.

My 15 month old loves books and any toy that she can carry around the house with her. This does both. She carries it around by the handle all the time and then sits down with us so that we can read it to her. The pages are very simple and only have one word. It is just right for her current attention span. And I love that she is getting excited about books. Cover squeeks when squeezed.

Das Büchlein eignet sich sehr gut als erstes Bilderbuch für Babys. Unsere Tochter war 6 Monate, als wir ihr dieses Buch gekauft haben. Sie kann es durch den Griff auf der linken Seite gut festhalten und es ist auch leicht und klein genug, sodass sie es lange herumwedeln, angucken und benagen kann.Die Bilder sind zwar teilweise sehr stilisiert, aber dafür sind die Farben und Formen klar und kontrastreich. Auf jeder Seite ist ein Tier (bsw. Fisch, Wasserkäfer), ein paar Umgebungselemente (bsw. Algen, Luftblasen) und der Name des Tieres (englisch - muss man beim Vorlesen und Zeigen ja nicht übernehmen) abgebildet.Ich mochte das Buch wegen der guten Greifbarkeit und den klaren Bildern. Außerdem hat es eine Quitsche auf der ersten Seite. Zusammen mit dem anderen Buch (das mit der Ente auf dem Cover) gehört es zu den Standartspielsachen, die wir auf Ausflüge mitnehmen, da es leicht, knautschbar, benagbar und jederzeit abwaschbar ist und man schnall mal etwas "Vorlesen" kann, wenn dem Kind langweilig wird.
