One of the best tools for Dyslexics!
As a Certified Academic Language Therapist (CALT)/Reading Interventionist who works with students with dyslexia every week -- and someone who is dyslexic -- I can say with all sincerity that these pens are a life saver! (Well, a sanity saver at least.) They really do allow you to completely erase and rewrite with ease. My son also has dyslexia and will not go to school without these pens. In fact, his entire 7th grade class is hooked on them. We've tried other erasable pens that were just meh (even others made by Frixon) but this specific Pilot FriXion Clicker model is the best! The pens completely erase errors, even days/weeks later! So, "How do these pens help students/adults with dyslexia?" you may be wondering -- because those of us with dyslexia are horrible spellers, and whether we realize it or not, there is a whole heap of stress associated with anything that has to do with writing. Even something as simple as writing a note in a birthday card can be challenging when you are constantly worried about making spelling mistakes or inadvertently leaving out a word. For students who are dealing with this type of stress daily, it can feel overwhelming. But....knowing that you can erase mistakes and turn in a paper/assignment that does not have scratch marks all over the place is a relief! Parents, ANYthing you can do or any tool you can give your child with dyslexia to assist him or her is worth the cost! If you can ease their burden just a little -- with something as simple as an erasable pen -- then you free them up to focus on the content of what they're writing rather than wasting so much mental energy worrying about the mechanics of writing.A few words of caution about these FriXon pens: First, you will have to have a steady supply of refills. My son and I go through a refill a week, at least. We both take copious notes (he's in a demanding middle school where he's learning Latin and such; I'm working on my master’s in special ed). Just be prepared to keep the refills in stock during the school year! Another IMPORTANT thing to know, especially for those of you living in warmer climates, is that the ink "disappears" when the temperature reaches 140ºF. We live in Texas, where the inside of a vehicle can easily reach Death Valley temperatures. I left a notebook in the car over the weekend last June and had a smallish panic attack when I opened my notes and found only blank pages! The GOOD NEWS is that the ink reappears at 15ºF. After leaving my notebook in the freezer for a few hours, I got all my notes back -- granted, they were a little fade, but still readable. When we first started using them, I noticed that some of the pens seemed to "dry out", but have since realized it was because they had been left in a hot car. Bottom line: Don't let the pens or anything you've written on with the pens get too hot.FYI, there are other colors available (blue, black, navy, red) that I can recommend; though I was not a fan of the lighter colors (pink, turquoise, etc.) for notetaking. Oh! One last thing. Frixon makes erasable highlighters that work fabulously, too! You’re welcome.

Erasable ink is the bomb!
I make a great many mistakes, so ability to erase is important :-) These ball point pens use a gel ink that vanishes when heated to greater than 140 degrees F. That is accomplished with the built-in eraser by lightly but quickly rubbing the mistake - the temperature where the eraser contacts the paper is over 140 and the ink vanishes. The erasers last a long time, my oldest pen is on its fifth refill and the eraser is down about 20% (like I said, lotsa mistakes). Theoretically getting the document too hot will cause the ink to disappear, but so far papers left in the back seat of the car in desert summer haven't been effected. Only downside is that like all gel ink pens the ink gets used up faster than old fashioned ball points, but the refills are reasonably priced, and this bundle makes it really convenient. (Yah, I loose pens too!)

Amazing product!
This pen writes beautifully. It actually erases completely and in my line of work I need to erase from time to time but pencil isn’t an option. This pen has made me a believer in erasable pens! It’s also comfortable to use. It takes a little getting use to with the “clicker” on its side but it’s just a small trade off that I got used to in a day. Amazing!

LOVE these pens!
I use these erasable pens for absolutely everything now. Buying the refills is so much more cost effective than continuing to buy new pens. I will say that I don't prefer the extra fine points so these .7 write perfectly. Highly recommend!

Writes smooth and erases well.
These are really nice. They write smoothly, have a bold ink color, and erase well. The only drawback is that the ink will erase without intention if the paper contacts moist skin.
