tfe Silver Mayan Chiming Ball Necklace Valentines for Her Present

This is a lovely little silver sphere, a contemporary pendant, but you just do not hear any chime, jingle or anything resembling a "bell" at all. I was disappointed about that as this is what I was seeking. However, it is pretty and was reasonably priced, and also feels good in your fingers to play with as you contemplate something. Just.....no "chime". If you put it close to your ear and shake it vigorously, you will hear some teeny little mini chime sound, but that's about it as far as quiet sound as you move about.If you like the look of this silver sphere necklace, reminiscent of the 60's, then it's perfect.

I bought this knowing that the chain is not silver, and it would probably become discolored.The chain is long, and very delicate feeling. I can slide it over my head easily. The chiming is lovely and the boading/chiming ball is larger than I had pictured.After wearing daily for a few weeks, even at night a few times, there has been no discoloration in either the ball or chain. There are some scuffs on the ball, but that's my own fault. And the shipping wasn't too bad either.My husband says it sounds "magical" as I whisp through the house.

I'm a little confused that Amazon's asking me to rate this as a "toy", but that's fine. I'll, ah, skip putting a star to it's education value.This is a very pretty chime necklace-- much prettier in person than I was actually expecting from the picture. The sounds it makes are noticeable, but not irritatingly loud or constant when I move around naturally or give it a little shake. Very sweet and gentle chimes. It came with a high shine, thin silver chain. :) I'm very happy with it.

This is a charming, fun item. I sent one to my youngest daughter when she was pregnant with her first baby. The baby can hear the little, silver tinkerbell while still in the womb. After the baby was born, the familiar tinkling was soothing to the baby. When she grew up a little, the charm fascinated her while in her mothers arms.Of course you may just like this for its fun aspects. It is a feel-good item that will put some joy into anybody's day. Great for yourself or for gifts : )

I don't know why Amazon is asking if I liked this "toy", this is not a toy, it is a piece of jewelry. I LOVE this necklace. I had one 15 years ago and lost it. I was so happy to be able to replace it all these years later.It's very nice to hear the gentle chimes as you move throughout the day.If you enjoy the relaxing sound of wind chimes, this is for you!

I bought this for myself. The chime has a nice sound to it and the size is nice. However, it is not sterling silver even though it was originally presented that way. The chain turned within a couple weeks without wearing it much. The ball has not turned yet but I will have to get another chain to wear it again. I will say that I received the item way before I expected which was great! I will order from this company again but I will go directly to their site where the items have more detailed descriptions.

I wanted more of a musical chime. The chain is long and not flattering. The ball is just big, silver and round, not delicate looking like the picture.

I purchased this necklace for myself recently and I love it! It is about the size of a cherry or grape for those of you wanting to know. It has the best chain and the greatest twinkle. Was originally worried due to the low price but I think I have hit the jackpot. Shipping was fast considering I live in the US and this came from the UK about three weeks give or take a few days.

My son suffers from travel sickness and this was recommended by a friend. He hasn't been sick since. Don't know if it's the placebo effect but it's worked for him
