Hi Ladies, could anyone tell me will this hair color cover white hair, and is this chemical free? How long will it last? Thanks in advance!!!!

It is absolutely NOT chemical free. I love this product and have been using it for 10 years, but just bc it says "Natur" in the title, don't extrapolate a meaning of chemical FREE. It excludes ammonia and resourcinol (which is excellent) but it still has an EWG score of 8 out of 10 (10 being worst) for toxicity because, well, in order to permanently color one's hair, chemicals are required. Important to note that even ammonia based colors also come in at an 8/10, so I don't know what's up with that. Oh, and yes, it covers white hair beautifully and takes a long time to fade on me. I know this is an old question but I want current readers to see an accurate answer.

I see Naturtint has to be "all used", you can't just mix as much as you want, and save the rest for touch ups...anyone done this anyway??

I always get four colorings from one box. (I have short hair, not very thick.) I get out my digital kitchen scale, a small glass jar, plastic spoon, and "surgical" gloves. I measure out 1/2 oz of developer in the glass jar, and then 1/2 oz of colorant, and mix with the plastic spoon. I add about 1-1/2 teaspoons of water to think it a bit (I sometimes use my hair conditioner instead of water), and then apply to my hair with the spoon and my gloved hands. I comb it through a bit with a comb. I do not apply with the squeeze bottle. Works like a charm. Just put the lids back on the developer and color bottles, replace in the box and put it away for the next coloring. Subsequent colorings are just as good as the first. Hope this helps! You could try using half the amount of coloring if you have more hair. Hope this helps.

This product is the only game in town that isnt "toxic" that works mmmmmkay? A 24 oz jar of honey is almost 10 bucks. common. It sucks, but what can we do? Our situation isnt real anyways. If we stop buying everything then life is poop and the bad guys win. Natrutitnt has been eating the shipping cost and they can't anymore. It comes from Spain you see. Use vinegar to rinse it out. That sets the color better. Rinse with cold water. Like an Easter egg ya? The color will last longer and dont wash it as much. Just give you hair a good hard rinse and scrub your scalp with cooler water then use a dab of conditioner. It's better for your hair anyways. Dont be mad at the hair color people. Ich habe eine weile nach der perfekten Haarfarbe gesucht die gut Deckt und frei von Silikonen und Ammoniak ist und dann auch noch komplett ohne tierische Inhaltsstoffe und ohne Tierversuche. Das es tierversuchsfrei ist war mir am wichtigsten doch das es schonender ist als andere Haarfarben und dann auch noch super hält (dauerhafte Coloration) macht das ganze Produkt für mich perfekt. Einziger Minuspunkt, da es aus UK kommt war die Versandzeit mit ca 1 Woche für mich recht lang, wobei das ja immernoch im Rahmen ist doch wenn man beschliesst sich die Haare färben und das so schnell wie möglich, sollte man das einplanen oder man sollte einfach auf reservere bestellen und merkt man das es zur neige geht gleich nachbestellen, doch das sollte ja machbar sein.

The best organic black you can buy in my opinion. Sticks like s@@t and lasts forever. One bottle does a shoulder length hair. Nice smell and easy to use. No allergic reactions using this stuff. Excellent shiny black colour.

Very good product, I purchased the gel, I have removed 1 star because amount of the activator to the colourant is not equal. I have used all of the activator and I have more colourant. This is a change which is not cost effective.

I have an allergy to hair dyes mainly the PPD but bought this on the strength of reviews. Luckily i did a test and had a horrendous reaction, for which I'm still having to take steroids ten days after. Think the PPD should be highlighted more, be careful !

Prefer using this to going to a salon. The instructions are easy to follow. Just keep some skin toner nearby to wipe away any bits that have somehow got onto your face/neck. :)
