This book is absolutely stunning and does not transfer as some reviews online say. I was perfectly aware of the more salacious translation and the fact that this book does not have every single story, but it was too beautiful to resist and I am not disappointed!

The book itself is like a fairy tale... we all know all these stories from our childhood, just wanted to get this beautiful edition.

I can say, it is by far one of the best bindings I have seen for a long while. Also, Sir Richard Burton is a very well respected translator for this specific work. Very happy with my purchase.

Very well-made book with beautiful leather cover, nice end pages, gilt edges and silk bookmark. Font size is easy to read. This book will be read for many years and handed down in the family.
