LARGE Cake Pop Baller - Professional Cake Ball Maker

I really like this Cake Pop Baller. My OCD requires that all my cake balls be the same size. With this utensil I now can manage this.

definitely for very large cake balls. ended up using another tool else this time but kept it for future use.

Using this device certainly helps to make the cake balls more symmetrical and size consistent, so it's easier than rolling the cake in your hands. However, for me,this cake pop baller is a little too large for the regular 6" white lollipop sticks. I believe these balls come out to 1.8" and Bakerella does hers at 1.5". So if you're using this LARGE cake-pop baller, the ball comes out too heavy to stay securely on a tiny stick, & it's not proportionate looking. Also, as a side note, this device is basically a meatball press, but more expensive because they call it a cake pop baller.Recently, my daughter had a little gathering of friends to help make cake pops for a wedding shower, and each person rolled her own cake balls by hand. Needless to say, they weren't all perfectly shaped or equal in size. Since they were making the bride and groom cake balls( http://www.amazon.com/CAKE-POPS-BAKERELLA ), it came out kinda cute, because some grooms and brides were fatter than others, but if the cake balls were any other design, it would've looked cheap homemade. So, if you're making a large amount of cake balls for a shower or a wedding and you want to make the balls consistent so it's more aesthetically pleasing, I'd get the medium sized baller or a meatball press that's close to 1.5".
