Ergodyne unisex adult Premium Phase Change - Packs FR Cooling Ice Vest, Khaki, Large-X-Large US

As a lineman in the extremely humid state of Florida, I am always looking for something that will help to keep me cool. One of my coworkers had bought one of your vest and bragged about the benefits. Even though it was a little pricey, I went ahead and bought the vest as well. Upon arrival I instantly cooled the icepacks and put it on excited to find out for myself how beneficial it would be. The following day, I took it to work and wore it for a few days before noticing that my coworkers was a different than mine. Once we compared and examined it, I realized that his is the one that is pictured and mine is not. Also, after looking it over, I read that the material is a combination fabric (of polyester) and DOES NOT mention FR. With that being said I absolutely cannot wear this product for safety reasons. I bought it to be able to wear AT work, and to be SAFE. I bought a FR product but that is not what I have. I would love for someone from the company to contact me and help make this situation right. The vest I have, does work. It keeps me cool, but given one quick slip and it could also torch me and make me a very HOT man when I would be set on fire!

They do not stay cold for 4 hours, at least not when it’s 90-100 outside. Maybe an hour, tops. It doesn’t get as cold as I’d like it to be and the L/XL vest is actually quite small. I’m 5’9” and weight 180 pounds. The vest rides up kind of high on me and doesn’t cover as much of my back and belly as I’d like. It does help for about an hour or so, but warms up quick. Overall, the quality of it is excellent. It’s well made. Is it worth >$200? I don’t think so. They sold me by claiming 4 hours. Had I known it’s more like one hour, I wouldn’t have bought it.

Very well made, the phase change gel lasts a long time, it fits comfortably. I wear it to work outside or at work under my bunker gear or in place of a safety vest.Expensive, but I would buy it again if I lost the one I got.

I live in Vegas and commute by bicycle. This vest gets me through the summer in comfort. I wish there where more style options. Right now I choose between “construction worker” and “adventurer”. Also the vest is a bit heavy. Wish there was a lighter version that keeps cold for just one hour instead 4 hours to get weights savings. This been said this is the best vest out there.

Order did not included the vest. Missed the window of return as I was out of town. This was the third time I tried to order this item, but the vest was never included. Perhaps the issue is with Ergodyne as the box states “includes vest and cooling pack”. Very disappointed as we work in temperatures that exceed 100 degrees.

This is going to save my life , they say it's only good 4 hrs buy at work I have worn it all day and I love it

I got this for my husband. He's a field service mechanic and works outside all day. He loves this vest. It keeps him cool and makes work easier on hot days.

using this under the middle east sun.Very usefull.

Study fabric, seems durable.I sent back because I have a large bust, and the ice packs didn't sit in the right places.I didn't find it did much for cooling my core either, so I sent it back after just stepping outside with it.

Bought this product for a welder. It makes a huge difference for himafter 9 months of use one of the phase change cooling inserts punctured. But am ordering a new one. this product is absolutely awesome.
