Very use ful product

Good quality,taste n pricing.My favourite with Chura n Dahi.Also with Rice roti.Nothing to beat this.

As you can see from the pics the seal was not proper and some of the product had leaked in transport. Luckily since the bottles were shrink wrapped the liquid did not spread around in the box. Taste wise it's nice though a bit too sweet and not runny consistency as compared to other BSMs. Cost wise definitely high especially since this is directly from the manufacturer. Also, the FREE gur saunf mentioned in the description wasn't sent, or did I read it wrong?Overall, would not buy again unless the price is revised to acceptable value. An ok ok product from a sugar manufacturer.... Had expected much better from them. Guess it's best suited to selling sugar only

I read on a blog that backstop molasses is loaded with minerals and great for hair and skin ,so have a qtr spoon everyday ,it sure has helped .Can be added to salad dressings too instead of honey.This is good quality .

Product quality has fallen big time. Previous purchase was spot on in terms of quality. You get what you ordered. The consistency was thick and dark coloured. Same can't be said anymore. I ordered two bottles recently. Both the bottles have sugar granules stuck to the insides and bottom of the jar. When the jar is opened, it instantly throws a smell of jaggery instead of molasses. Feels like the company is mixing sugar and jaggery syrup and selling it as molasses. Not buying again.

I used it as a substitute for treacle. It worked fine except that it was not ats dark as treacle. I used it to make Xmas cakes/plum cakes. Turned out really good.

I've purchased a bunch of this brands Molasses as I used to have a Western Bakery and needed this fairly often for different products. I've tried other Indian brands and find this one the best, but... If you've had the opportunity to taste British or American 'Blackstrap Molasses', you'll understand what I'm about to say. The 'foreign' product is always very consistent in flavor and viscosity, while I've noticed that this one has it's 'good batches & bad ones'. When it's good, it is almost on par with their foreign counterparts. Usually however the flavor is more like liquified jaggery/guar, without the 'bite' and sharpness that one buys Blackstrap Molasses for. I've been able to purchase the Imported brands here, but you Really Pay for it...

This product has sugar granules, looks like this company mixing sugar and sugar syrup and selling it as molasses. Need to complain to the concerned authorities for food adulteration.
