Just got it today. I tried it out with about a teaspoon of peanut butter. We have given our dogs peanut butter in Kongs, but they always smear it on the floor and worse, the rugs. I think that will be impossible due to the bowl shape.My pup was leery at first, maybe confused by the wobbling, circling it a few times with little licks. But once she got brave enough to get licking, I think she was won over.To clean it, I was able to turn it inside out and scrub with a little Dawn. I’m sure it will do well in the dishwasher too

My pup likes licking everything so I thought this would be a hit. She loved licking the peanut butter out of it. But when she was done, she decided the bowl was like an ice cream cone and started chowing down on it. Didn't take her much time or effort to get a good size chunk out of it before I quickly got it away from her. For the price, one use was a little high. And then she felt the need to photo bomb to prove the point.

doesn't have suction so not sure why the review asks me how the suction is

I bought the bowls. My dogs love them. The bowls move around as they are licking them so it extends play time. Easy to throw in the dishwasher and clean.

This bowl is fine, it served its purpose for a few weeks, then my dogs destroyed it. Not a very sturdy bowl. I know it wasn't designed to be, but if a dog is supposed to be getting food off of it, it might get the urge to gnaw on it.If you're on the fence about it, I'd say give it a try!

Our pup loves a mixture of fat free yogurt and peanut butter. We, then, freeze it. Keeps her busy while we get to eat dinner in peace:-)

After reading about this lick bowl, I decided to add it to my 60 lb. pitbull granddog’s bag of tricks... & it’s a new challenge for sure!We smeared the inside nubs with peanut butter & set it down.And what does he do?? After trying, with difficulty, to get at the inside with the bowl set on vinyl plank flooring, he picks it up with his mouth & walks it over to a throw rug where it didn’t slide as much - hahaha!! He’s so smart.The fact that it wobbles & slides is part of the game. He eventually managed to steady it between his front paws & get at the inside which meant his nose had peanut butter on it, too - more licking fun!Definitely a worthwhile toy/game. It’s currently full of fresh peanut butter with crushed treats spread in it & in the freezer to extend the time it takes to lick it all off.
