A Snappy Read
All good - a good, entertaining and fast moving attention getter.

Fast paced action and snappy dialogue
Following the format of the previous books, Nina and Eddie once again find themselves dragged into dangerous and sinister plots that they find they must solve in order to save large populations from disaster. My only quibble is that I would like to have had an additional Epilog to the one in the book. I would have liked to read about the aftermath of the story and what happened to some of the characters that survived (although I'm sure some of them will show up again in future books). As with all the other books, this one was hard to put down, even when my cat tried to get my attention on her instead of the book.

The Revelation Code
Another fantastic book with Nina and Eddie. I haven't had a chance to catch up on my books and reading as much as I used to but if you're interested in a great series then this is a great one to read. These stories usually have a lot to do with history. Nina is a Archeologist and Eddie is her husband and on their adventures they always run into some type of trouble. The story lines filled with a lot of action and comedy mixed in due to Nina husband who was a member of the British SAS. I don't believe in giving to much of the stories away because I believe it takes away the reading of the story from the next person. You can also read a sample of the story before you buy it to make sure that you would like the series. Thanks again for reading my reviews and I hope you'll enjoy this book as much as I did.

Nina and Eddie Hit another Homerun
I have been a fan of Andy's books since I read the first one. The two leading characters are the most unwitting companions of danger ever. But, when they do get caught up in an adventure the readers better tighten their seat belts and get ready for a roller coaster ride of adventure and suspense. In this story they are cast against a former CIA religious zealot who has plans along with a former nemesis from their one of their previous adventures. Naturally, mthe bad guys want to take over the world and its up to Nina and Eddie to stop the dastardly plot. They do so in grand style. What sets this story apart from, others is Nina is pregnant; but; that doesn't stop her from doing wild and crazy things. It's a good read and well worth the read.

Andy McDermott writes in the style of the great adventure novel
Andy McDermott writes in the style of the great adventure novel, and surprisingly succeeds where so many others fail. I have read the series front to back, and have never been disappointed Now that it is summer, why not settle in and try this series? They are very good, even though there really is no such place as Atlantis( Atlantis is based on Minoan civilization Don't believe me, check it out yourself) although the other places are always exciting, the villians always are good, and Nina and Eddie will always do their best to come out ahead. Give the series a try, you'll like it!

Likable characters, interesting historical background.
Likable characters are thrown into a drama that requires a number of mysteries to be solved. These mysteries require a great deal of historical information to be solved. I've grown to love this genre, as it enables me to combine learning something new along with an enjoyable read. It's not the greatest example of this genre, but this is the first of the "Nina Wilde/Eddie Chase" series that I have read, and it was enjoyable enough that I'm going to buy another.

Good read!
On a smaller scale, this was an INDIANA JONES or NATIONAL TREASURE type of book. I did not realize it was #11 in a series, but can stand alone. I enjoy this style of writing & enjoy the quest type of reading.

Another Page Turner
Andy McDermot books never cease to amaze me. The amount of detailed research that the author has done to transport the reader to each of the locations in the story is absolutely amazing. Added to that at the action sequences are at a nail biting pace giving enjoyment to the reader on every page.I can't understand why these books have never been translated into Blockbuster Movies.Eagerly looking forwards to the next publication in the series

Chase And Wilde Back At It !!!
So I ordered this book something like four month's before I decided to pick it up (December 2021) as after reading the last dozen of the series I was disheartened at how corny and over the top it had all become and they got extremely hard to read as I just shook my head and rolled my eyes at how indestructible Eddie and Nina were after surviving all sorts of carnage but this was actually an okay read albeit a bit far fetched in parts but was a steady read and believable for the most part and I hope the last three books in the series follow suit to finish off this decent series.

Action packed page turner
I really love this series. Admittedly I brought "The Hunt for Atlantis" the first in the series on a whim, but followed up and subsequently devoured all of the other books in the series in short order. In a way I think the series has found its pace and normally each book and relevant mystery settles into a familiar pace concluded by the end of the last page. The overall series does tick eddies and Nina's relationship along but by picking up a random title in the series won't leave you totally confounded. However this is not a bad thing as getting to that last page (which happens very quick once you are invested) means going through an action packed adventure. Alas to say I won't spoil the plot, but in a nutshell Nina has been kidnapped and our as always, our amusing Yorkshire protagonist will not let heaven or earth get in the way of rescuing her.In all this adventure like most others will absorb suck you in with the pages turning rapidly. In all a great buy and I cant wait for any subsequent adventures.

More Mayhem
It's good to have Eddie & Nina back. As usual non-stop action. I can only give 4 stars because there is something missing so it isn't as good as previous adventures. Eddie continues to be top-notch, But Nina continues to slip as a character. She is downright mean to Eddie for a good part of the book, and so no appreciation to him for her rescue. It appears she has finally begun to realize the devastation she has caused by her myopic quest for archeological finds, but she can't/doesn't change her behaviors. Her being 'protected" by reason of her pregnancy is overdone and unrealistic. The villains would not have as they did because she is pregnant. She does appear to return to her prior self by the end.One does wonder how she will act when the baby is born.Still a good read

I think the author has ran out of good plot lines
I think the author has ran out of good plot lines. I didn't last more the two chapters before I screamed out WHAT THE *****? Not another crazy demented nutcase kidnapping Nina and torturing Eddie to get Nina to find something. Hope the new book coming out is better the this. I'm tried of very rich people who have nothing better to do than try to take over or destroy the planet. Give me a break.Sept 2, 2016. After giving this book a rest. I dove back into it and got caught up in the story. Still do not like the plot, but I got to give Andy credit for carrying on with Nina and Eddie in trying to save the world... Or, at least New York city---Again. What an adventure. Still hoping his new book is a little better. Poor Nina. Having to carry a baby through all this. No, wonder she's getting bitchy.

Excellent fun
Another excellent bit of fun. I still think the books read like a screen play, but what's not to like, with helicopter chases evil zealots corrupt politicians and of course our heroes. I actually thought there was a risk that Nina could lose her baby. The fact that I cared speaks volumes for the quality of the characterisation in these books. A good read, even if you have not read the others. A must read if you have.
