DevaCurl Leave-In Moisturizing Decadence, 8oz

The reviews I had read were mixed so I thought I would weigh in. I have 3b curls.The product does feel 'rough' on application. On application it feels very dry, it is actually quite surprising. I was a little taken back. But that feeling doesn't stay - maybe it is absorbed by hair, I don't know but the end result is very soft hair. It does what it says in that it is moisturing. It does help frizz but it is not a styling product so it doesn't 'change' the hair, apart for making it softer.It is super expensive. There is no question, but in my experience with curls, there is no choice to buy good quality hair salon quality products a/ because you use less product b/ because you buy of other products trying to remedy and c/ it usually does what it says.I did prefer the styling cream coconut styler super cream but with my (long / thick) hair I only get two weeks worth. This one I think I can stretch to a month. A good moistering product and the deva curl ultra defining hair gel - is what has been working for me.

My hairdresser gave me a couple samples of this stuff a couple months ago. I dont even have curly hair haha, but I'm obsessed with it! The smell is amazingly fresh. I love it so much! I always get compliments when people get a whiff of it lol. I still use conditioner in the shower, then I use about a dice sized blob (I have a chin length bob) in wet hair. Brush it through with my "Wet" brush and towel dry! ;) my hair is ridiculously manageable after using this stuff. It does whatever I want and stays! Plus, my hair is soooooo soft!! Love love love this product

I haven’t tried this product before but have used many other Devacurl products that I love and still use. This leave in conditioner left my hair extremely dried out and very tangled? I don’t know how a conditioner can leave your hair feeling worse then when you first started. Maybe it’s a fake Devacurl product or this leave in conditioner is not for me.

This leave-in conditioner is the best product I've tried (and I've tried several!). I use it for almost 2 years as the first step in my routine. It is light and hydrates my curls deeply while defining them and never weighs them down. Each hair is different, I cannot guarantee that it will have the same miracle effect on yours, but if you have a 3b / 3c texture and low porosity hair, this is definitely a product to try!

It smells amazing, helps with my dry hair and enhances my curls. Just don’t use too much of it at once because your hair will get greasy.
