UltraSlim by Speedskin - Keyboard Instruction Cover, Slim KB, Apple Laptops

We use CTL Chromebooks in our school. The ones that are a few years old, the skins fit fine. The new ones we have just purchased, they don't fit right and won't work. I'm not sure if the other versions will fit better or not as I thought this was for that style keyboard.

I was going to go crazy because I did not realize there was a plastice base that helps keep its structure when in transit. So I was putting on computer wondering why this was not working. Okay so be aware of that. It is supposed to be flimsy and works great on our chromebook. Not so much our larger dell.

This product says that it works on Mac products, but when I put it on my Macbook Air, the keys would not click. Useless product.

This is my third or fourth purchase of these for my classroom and also for other grades at our school. These skins are durable and useful for all Macs in our building. The bumps on the "f" and "J" help students place them properly. These are easy to soap up on Fridays to kill the germs as well. Getting ready to place another order. As our old computers are being replace with new ones, we need these sleek skins for our new keyboards. A Plus!

This product is perfect for learning to type. My kids are using a free online source for learning to type. It's natural to want to look at the keys. This is the best product for guarding against that tendency. After the first couple of days, my 9-yr old daughter told me she is getting faster because of not cheating by looking. This is better than the big box products you can use to block the keyboard - and it's harder to cheat since the keys are covered directly. It works perfectly on all 3 of our laptops, which all have slightly different keyboards. Thanks!!!

I tried using this with a mac keyboard and because it doesn't fit snug, it's very difficult to type with. Imagine this as a cover that kind of fits over the keys, but moves around as you type. Also, because it doesn't fit snugly, that means the keys on the cover are bigger than the keys on the keyboard, which is confusing when I've learned to type based on feel of keys and memory of where keys are. Last, it was a slightly harder material, which meant I had to press really hard to get to the key below the cover and press it down. I was looking into this product to help my students, but this would only frustrate them and teach them strange techniques.
