Got these for my Mom and Grandmother.. Super cute idea. And there are chapters that ask questions so they don't have to try to think of stuff to write.. Awesome gift that I can one day give to my kids

I bought these books to gift from our daughter to my parents and my husbands parents. Such a fun way to really get to know them, and pass down stories that no body may have ever known about otherwise. Everyone seemed to love the idea even though the weren’t really big into writing. We joked they had til next Christmas to fill them out and gift them back to our daughter. Great way for our parents to reflect back at their life and remember the good times, and maybe even pass some knowledge down! The books are beautiful, and classic.

This is such a sweet keepsake for children to cherish and learn their grandmother’s story. I purchased it as a Christmas gift, and it’s thoughtful, meaningful, and beautifully made.

The book is beautiful, the coloring and feel of this book was so impressive, the sheets are lined with a gold color. I was very impressed

I got these for both my grandmas. It's a great way to bond, just spending time filling it out and getting to know more about their lives. It covers an array of topics from childhood, to school life, to work, and family life, as well as personal philosophy and other extras. There are spaces to add pictures, and if you fully fill up the provided space with stories, you can just finish writing the other thoughts / ideas they have and paperclip or staple them in. The design is pretty, prompts help them to think, and it's a great way to spend time with a loved one.

This book (Grandma's story) looks beautiful on the outside. I am hoping it is just as perfect on the inside, but I don't want to unseal it before shipping it off to my mother-in-law, my little boy's "Grandma." I also wanted to get the same type of journal for MY mother from him... but, lo and behold, there is no "Oma" option to be found in a similar lovely hardbound style. I did find a floppy paperback version, which looks like they photocopied this "Grandma's story" cover artwork and replaced the middle words with "OMA tell me your life story." Pretty cheesy by comparison, but since there is no other option, I just have to hope they don't get together to compare their gifts. I do not know how the insides compare because I want this one to remain sealed for its cross-country tref to Grandma's house. "Oma" is not an uncommon moniker for "Grandma," even in the USA, and there are other extremely common options that are also nowhere to be found for love or money. My Father is my son's "Opa," which is also NOT that uncommon, even in the U.S.. Please consider expanding your catalog of options for these journals!!

has a burlap type cover which i didn’t notice when buying, but adds a unique texture that makes it look older than it is, which i like. had great prompts.
