My primary goal with this shirt was to match a Victorian Gothic black jacket I own, and this compliments it perfectly.As other reviewers have stated, this is for small Asian build. And you should order at least two sizes bigger than your normal size. I'm 5'2", 31-26-37, and am comfortable in size small, fitted shirts. I ordered a large here, thinking I'd regret it, but from my pics I posted, I'm really happy. Since I'll be wearing this under a jacket, not too concerned about the see thru bra thing, but it is noticeably.This shirt is quite a statement and I love it for the future costumes and fine art photography I'll model with it for. I just love the high collar it has. The details are lovely. And for 20 some bucks, I got a great deal. But again, I'm using this for costumes, so not sure about the every day person who wants to wear this.

I don't know about the size issues. I ordered one size too big the first time and it was two sizes too big. Nothing to be mad about, reordered a medium. It's much better but the collar was still loose. Finally ordered a small in white. It fits perfect. The edges are well finished, the material is a good quality, very wrinkle resistant, and over all I love it. It works well for lolita fashion.I think amazon moved the size chart down to smaller after the company started making them larger. S fits me with a 35 inch bust and here are pictures of the large on my dress form turned to a 39.5 inch bust and 32 inch waist.

Great shirt! It's so pretty. I ordered it bigger fearing that it runs small as others stated, not true. I could have ordered my true size and it would have been a perfect fit. Instead I would have had a perfectly fitted shirt.Other than this, I love my shirt. It also came swiftly!

This shirt is on the smallish side, but it worked absolutely wonderfully for the unicorn costume I designed for my daughter's role in "The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe". It really is an absolutely gorgeous shirt. It has a nice fit and cut to it; extremely formfitting, so be aware of size and measurements. It really completed the outfit and was exactly how I pictured it in my mind.

it was a bit big! but I'm a seasoned seamstress so I knew how to take it in!this is how it looked after I took it in I'll have to buy 1 in white now! :)

This is perfect! The size fits very well. I am normally a size Small in US. I read that you should size up two sizes when ordering from Asian countries. I bought a Large and while I hoped it would be a little tighter, it still fit very well. I paired the shirt with a halter piece that makes it fit even better. I am planning to buy the black version just to have for the future.

I'm pairing this with my Tahari Military Jacket and faux-leather pants with knee-high leather boots. Everyone goes nuts when they see it, it's outright striking. The frilly cuffs hang down over my hands, out of the jacket sleeves. The high collar feels cozy, stands up easily, and since it's polyester, any make-up comes out easily in the wash. Workmanship on this shirt is super-high quality. It's like a throwback to when clothes were made "right," even when less expensive. Sizing, I usually buy large for long arms and broad shoulders. Since I'm wearing it under a jacket anyway, I got the XXL, which is largish in the "gut," but way-comfy under a jacket. Long enough to tuck in pants but not gigantic. Gotta get this before they raise the price!

I loved the style and the stretchiness of the material but the sizing is off... in the description it said US sizing but the shirt was probably a size too small.

I give tours at a Victorian home built in 1893, this will make a great addition to my costume.

What I like the most about this item is that it gives the classy look that I was searching for but what I like the less is that it doesn't fit exactly the way that I needed to.
