I wanted to love this..Unfortunately the first use started out great but then it went bad the neck of the brush snapped the brush head itself is great very dense and makes the foundation look great but the craftsmanship of the item is quite bad the two pieces are superglued together and the pieces are plastic and a harder plastic (or very thin metal) I was so upset with this I will be returning this and do not recommend this brand

Update: I received a replacement brush from the company very quickly. So far all is well with it. Regardless of how this one wears over time, I will buy from this company again. The are fantastic and stand behind their products. Full Stars!!Continuing Edit - less than an hour after contacting the company they replied with apologies and an offer to either replace or refund. I chose the replacement. So far, dealing with this company has been one of the better experiences I've had. Hopefully the issue was just a manufacturing defect, the rest of the brush seems good.6/9 Edit - I felt the need to edit my review as the brush head came off in my hand while doing my makeup this morning. I was not using pressure and was holding it as suggested; it appears as though the plastic notch from the brush head snapped where it was glued into the handle. I was able to fit it back together, but it obviously doesn't stay. I'm really very bummed at the situation, I really loved this brush.However, I will contact the company and see what they say, maybe I just got a dodgy one.This brush is absolutely fantastic. I have never used something quite like this, and I am no where near a makeup brush novice. The blending you can achieve with this brush is second to none - and it feels fantastic!! I wish I had more money in my beauty budget, I would love to try this brush for my skin care products too; if nothing else but for the feeling. Truly great.

I really wanted to LOVE this brush. The seller even sent a cute follow up email after it was shipped. When I received it, the packaging was beautiful. I unboxed like a kid on Christmas. The rose gold (my favorite!) is gorgeous. The silicone (?) handle was soft and seemed as promising as the wonderfully soft bristles. I noticed immediately that the rose gold only painted over a lightweight and cheap like plastic. I obviously wasn't expecting real gold, I suppose I thought it would be painted on a metal?? I was really worried that it would chip and fade over washes. The handle was very flimsy. I immediately thought with the top heavy brush that it wouldn't take much to make it snap. Nonetheless, I wanted to give it a chance since this type of brush seemed to have all makeup gurus in a fever. I washed first because it had a slight chemical smell. The soap did NOT come out easy at all. (We do not have very soft water in my area) I dried it carefully. The next morning I used it to apply my powder foundation. It was soooo uneven, I kept buffing and ended up using more product than usual. It looked cakey and blotchy! So I wiped it off and applied it with my normal brush then attempted to use it as a finishing brush. I also used it for blush. I again attempted to use it with a liquid foundation...all failed. Perhaps I wasnt using it correctly?? I watched a few more tutorials than I had previously and it appeared I had the technique down, but the results just weren't happening. I ended up tossing it, thinking maybe these particular style brushes just aren't for me.In summary:Pros: Beautiful packaging, great concept, personable customer serviceCons: chemical like smell on bristles, flimsy plastic, shedding occurred on first application, better quality material to improve the durability could be considered

This has to be the best foundation brush I have ever owned I actually bought the whole set they are well constructed and very dense brushes so the make up stay on them well, wish they came with a guide to what brush does what but that is what the internet is for but as far as products It is wonderful I recommend them 100% package is very nicely constructed so brush don't get damaged in shipping and the company is wonderful they stand behind there products plus the rose color is so beautiful I can't say enough about these brushes LOVE LOVE THEM

Sooo, first I'll just say that the brush is a little big for my face in applying foundation. I have an oval brush from MAC (oval 6) that is a better size for me, personally. I'll use it for powder and for neck/décolleté area applications. Second, I was curious as to the cleanliness of the product since it was not sealed in a bag in its box. The packaging was a fitted, felt holder, so it wasn't rolling around in the box during shipment. Yet I noticed that the bristles were not all in the same direction. They're still dense, it's like they just have a couple cowlicks. The thing I was most disappointed by though, was seeing dirt come off as I cleaned the brush before use. I'm not sure it shows well in the picture of where I wiped the brush on the washcloth to clean it, it looks a bit like a shadow. But it was enough dirt to make an impression on me...and leave one on a clean washcloth. You can see the cowlicks in the picture, too. And last point, the neck of the brush feels fragile, I instinctively found myself gripping it close to the brush head. Overall, I like the quality of the bristles, I don't think the weird direction of them will effect application. The price is cheap, so that's great for wanting to test out this type of makeup brush. It still provides a smooth application with that more natural look desires from these types of brushes. The shipping time was great. So while I may have critiques, I don't really have many complaints.

I purchased this product on my own, this was not an item given to me.The packaging on this product was just right, it kept my brush protected during delivery and I still keep my brush in it to maintain its shape. The brush is super soft and doesn't soak up my foundation, and it spreads my foundation evenly on my face. I love the rose gold color and the rubber grip handle. I'm giving it 4 stars because I wish the rose gold handle was a little bit of a stronger plastic but in all the brush is amazing! I definitely recommend buying this product.
