ABSOLUTELY PERFECT FOR THE BEACH & BACKYARD!¡!
I loved the Umbrella (and the sand anchor-purchased separately) especially during our beach trip last week! The umbrella was sturdy in the strong seaside breeze, it gave nice shade to at least 2 chairs, folded easily and came with a slim drawstring bag with a shoulder strap for carrying and very lightweight!Admittedly at first I was a little intimidated by having to screw a sand anchor into the ground but it was easier than it seemed (just wish the anchor I ordered hadn't been so bulky but was very light)I guess my ONLY complaint was having to order umbrella and anchor separately.There are several ways to make it stand, it tilts backwards and forward at the top adjustable joint, AND IT FITS PERFECTLY INTO MY CONCRETE PICNIC TABLE AT HOME!

Not for heavy wind
Works well, until the wind is greater than 12-15 mph.The "tilt" apparatus was quickly damaged, so that it now tilts by itself in any wind greater than 10 mph.This makes it much more difficult to keep up, even with a very good sand anchor.

Horrible!!!
If zero were an option... ANY breeze will take this poorly constructed umbrella, turn it inside out, and maybe make it like a kite and blow it away. We got to the beach, where everyone had umbrellas out. I took this out of the wrapper and opened it, carefully as to not face with the wind, set it into the base pole in the sand, and within 30 seconds it was inverted and about to blow away. Again, in all fairness, everyone else had umbrellas working just fine. The wire holding the metal ribs together at the top snapped rendering this USELESS, as well as some red faced embarrassment to go along with it since I looked like the shmo with an upside down umbrella. Avoid at all costs!!!

Great umbrella with carrying case.
Held up well to about 10 beach trips this year. Tested in 15mph winds and using a corkscrew sand anchor (sold separately). The bottom of this is pointed but smooth so a screw type sand anchor is a must if using this on the beach.This folds up easily back into its carry case that is included.

Sun protective umbrella
I bought this umbrella for our beach trips. It was number one by and must have on any and all of our family vacations Beach trips. It is very durable and easy to set up. Even in wind it held up just fine. Would recommend.

Great purchase
Bigger than expected. Easy to set up. I used with a sand anchor and it stayed up well through a windy day on the beach before storms were coming through.
