Aquarium Heater Guard Protector w/Suction Cups - Black

Suction cups do not work no matter what I did with them. They’d come off after about 15 minutes every time. Replaced them with other suction cups I had laying around and it worked great.

This I think was made for a 100-watt heater, but I think it will protect my 200-watt heater just fine. It doesn't cover the middle section, but it still seems to offer good protection for my clumsy handling. The plastic is thick and it was a nice snug fit. The two suction cups look good. Now I need to other another for my 100-watt heater. I put it on my 200-watt heater because this one costs me more and I want to protect it first.

Was as expected aprox 8 inches long & fit over the rubber tip that was not removable from my heater. Comes in 2 pieces that twist together.works well for what it does cover, I can not say more because between purchase and receipt I got a new aquarium and a bigger heater. Waiting now for a bigger cover. My pleco keeps burning himself on the still open spot. Update* used in another tank found it to be very nice much sturdier than my longer one also I did not need to remove the rubber tip of the heater to fit in this item as with others that is a plus. I think it is safer and stays in place better.

Great product. Suction doesn’t work well for turtles

Does what I needed it to do and that's keep the reptile from using has a hockey puck or play toy. Didn't like the fact the rubber bumper on the bottom of my heater would not really fit down the protective guard easily so I had to remove it from my heater and use something to push in the guard and then insert the heater but really satisfied with the product

Doesn’t fit my thermostats. FYI, t’s a bit big for a 50W, Otherwise it would be great.

Absolutely cannot and wont stick to the wall of the aquarium no matter what I try

I use these in my turtle tanks. I needed something that would protect the turtles from burning and protect the glass from shattering if bumped. This was the perfect solution.

Great value. Fitted my heaters perfectly. For some reason my Betta fighter used to play chicken on the heater by seeing how close he could get before feeling the heat. I've got a feeling that he could see his own reflection and was sparring with himself. No more, sorry to spoil his fun but this is much safer for the fish. Two small clips ensure that the protection cage clamps onto the heater glass tube and the two suckers are really strong. I would recommend that these are fitted to any aquarium with an exposed heater. I got three for two tanks with one as a spare. Very happy with the purchase price and arrived ahead of the stated date.

Good solid, sturdy plastic, arrives in two halves that clip together & your heater slides into this. The suction cups are included & are an optional accessory... the suckers are good as they hold the protector securely.

My big catfish broke the other one so it didnt hold very well especially with the weight of him on it! He kept pulling the heater right under the water because of the size of him.Doesnt do it with this 1 anyway!! :-) I have a fight with it trying to dislodge the suckers.

It does what it's supposed to, it's big enough that any size heater should fit, the suction cups allow it to attach to glass itself so it won't fall away from the heater. So far my turtle and his fish tank mates are burn free so it works as it should.

The suction are good it taken ages to come though but was worth it fits well on the heater
