Rig'Em Right Decoy Anchors (6-Pack), 10-Ounce/60-Inch
G**9
built backwards
Nice try Rig'em right.... or a I say Rig'em WRONG. The reason I say that is because these are built backwards from a true Texas rig style decoy weight rig and these suck to pick up. One of the things I like about a texas style decoy rig is the ability to pick a decoy up and clip the loop without getting your hand wet and cold, BUT with the Rig'em right system the loop is at the bottom and you have to get your hand and/or glove soaking wet to get to the loop. The line should have a stationary weight and let the line slide through the swivel rather than this system with a sliding weight that will get clogged up with mud and the weight wont slide or if you tie a bundle of decoys in a knot for transport it'll kink the lines enough the the weight wont always slide past a kink. And as stated in other reviews, after some rough use and tossing decoys you'll loose a few weights. Do yourself a favor and save some $$ by building your own rigs with a stationary weight and good crimps with 400lb mono.
