Q: Is thread tape needed on the male ends that have the red thread locker on it, or does that complete the seal upon installation?

We recommend still using thread tape on the ends that have the factory red seal, just to ensure there are no leaks. The red seal is more of a base layer/failsafe.

Q: Where are they manufactured ?

This kit is manufactured in China.

Q: Are these push style connectors so we can insert the plug one handed without requiring to pull the sleeve back?

You need to pull back the sleeve to insert the plug.

Q: I have an rv will these work on my onboard air compressor?

These Jaco connectors should work on any standard valve or valve extension. If they do not fit onto your onboard air compressor, you can find connectors that will make it fit properly. I had to do this with my regular air compressor.
