In the video it looks easy to use and perfect cut but in actual use as a person who cooks everyday it has a learning curve- I sliced a big watermelon may be not ideal for first use- the melon slices became really irregular to the point of me cutting the melon the old way as a lot of waste was the result of the slicer; I may have to try again as I don't want to return to a small company with excellent customer support and educational material even how to choose a watermelon

I hate it because it broke on July 6. It was the 7th time I used this tool. I LOVED it until it broke. Now amazon will not replace, or allow a return of it. There should be a way to have a broken item replaced.It's made of SS, it should have lasted at least the whole summer.UPDATE: The SKP Enterprise lady wrote to me and will replace my broken slicer. I'm glad because I do love it and the kids enjoy watching then eating. I would really like AMAZON to provide a way to report a broken item without having to resort to writing a 1 star report to get anybody's attention. Amazon- you gotta work on this.

In regards to the Watermelon Cutter, during the 1st use, the wire piece, which holds the two sides together and cuts the melon free of the rind, broke free from one side of the unit making it unusable. It now sits in the kitchen drawer, looking shiny and taking up valuable space. The included melon baller works fine so I can make watermelon balls but not watermelon slices. Silly me! I thought a stainless steel tool would hold up better than a plastic tool. Not sure what my next step will be.

Handle still remain sharp and it hurts my hand when I use it. I had to put tape around it. I shoud have return it

The very first time we used this item, it broke! The bar for cutting the bottom of the watermelon slice separated from one side of the tip and the knife completely bent. Great idea but poor product manufacturing. Intuitional, we used it AFTER the 30day return date so we're stuck with it. Not happy and won't purchase from this manufacturer again. Ooh, and it also did not come with the corer as advertised.

I saw this on The Chew and knew that I just had to order it. I am so happy I did! it works perfectly. I haven't used the baller yet but the slicer is a dream. I ordered two so that I could give one to my daughter. She is going to love it as well!

I really like the watermelon slicer. At first I was using it wrong so I didn't care for it. Later I watched the video realizing I was holding it wrong, I turned it the right way and it works so simply. Awesome........
